Any way to just scrape new games added instead of starting from scratch each time?

You should change per config from CRC/Filename value in misc to just filename for all disc based systems or you will be sitting there for hours.
Since SkraperUI is using the screenskraper database you will need to check their site on proper file names because for some stupid reason they do not use no intro naming.

Russ you need to do one of these for GARLIC PRESS for the RG35XX... It just got a nice update.

I have scraped videos for two platforms that show when I check the card on pc but they don't show on my rgb10 max. Is there an easy way to fix this? They used to show and play just fine. I noticed one day that they were no longer showing. If you can help thanks. I know this videos 2 years old at this point. Thanks

It should be really fast right? I have been on the "Please wait, downloading resources" screen for 4 hours now and still it is not even 5% downloaded. This is going to take days, even on my 1 Gbit/s connection. And that is just the configuration wizard......

Just finished my second day of trying to skrape lol. All the files are finally on my computer, but once on the sd card they won’t show up. I’m about to start trying to skrape directly onto the card, but that’s another 2 days down the drain 😅 certainly not all that easy

It's been some time but i hit the wall with PSX and Anbernic RG280V.
I try make /.previews /media and all other tries but Skraper, even with videos and images downloaded in folders, doesn't show any images when i load the SD.

To all RG35XX users with GarlicOS, you need to set the Output Folder of images to Imgs under your %ROMROOTFOLDER% to make it work.

Is this the same process on the RG35XX?

Does this work with the 3G35XX GarlicOS? Because I just skraped all my gba files but nothing shows up in regards to a game cover or screenshot...

Does Skraper have any documentation at all? The custom mix XML option is not very useful without it.

Why does Skraper download as a 7z file that I can’t use or install?

For me it takes forever, 4h+ ETA was at 8h+, a GBA collection which has 10 ganes tooked 10 minutes, and after finishing the program just don't finish at all, so I have to close and opening it again to Scrape another system, for now the best solution seems to be WiFi, but I don't have a dongle right now.

Is this a way of removing the clone & region types which usually come in brackets after a game name? e.g. (World)
In Metadata, Name decorations I have unticket 'Clone Type' but rescraping on one system still leaves region and rev2 in brackets. What option would remove everything in brackets, leaving the name of the game only

Skraper looks nice for bulk scraping,
but there are always a few titles that are incorrect or not found.
How to fine-tune after the first pass by Skraper ?
Also, same question if I just add 1 title to an existing list of titles.
I could not find any way to do such incremental operation from Skraper.
It seems as if Skraper only wants to start from scratch every time, throwing away all work already done, and not providing any detail about which title was found or not found.

Hi there, I have the RG280V w/the Adam image and have had much success in scraping box art. For some reason tho, only a few of the PS games are showing the art, but I’ve verified all of the .png files are present in the right folder. Any thoughts on this? This is the only core I’m seeing an issue for and the folder structure looks good roms/ps/.previews

Excellent video! Much appreciated. But sadly, 20 minutes in, still downloading resources. With a i9 + 3080 computer, I am not quite sure how many "threads" one need to speed things up a little.

as cool as skraper is, i realize it's still in beta stage. is there a way to link manuals and other images (box back, title screen, etc.) to the appropriate metadata field on 351elec? it doesn't seem to let you. it defaults to "none" on the node. upon a quick google, it seems like the only way is to manually add a line within the XML file which is probably not worth it. i wish there was a way to automate it. the built-in scraper does it, but it'll download multiple files since you can't limit the file types (i.e. manuals/videos/images for multiple disc games which is a waste of space).

also, prioritizing box art regions doesn't seem to work. silent hill, for example, always gives me the European box art, even "us" (for USA) is first. I even checked the CRC #, and it matches that region. i kinda hope there's an updated version which corrects these issues. or if someone knows any other screen scraping software, please let me know!

do the games have to be on the SD card provided to show up on the system? i plugged a flashdrive at the the top of the system with my downloaded games from the internet but no luck finding them in the listn of games
