I've followed a Udemy course, this tutorial, other written tutorials, etc. My Room database has data in it (I was able to run a SQL query when the connection was open once, although it's usually closed, in the App Inspector) but all of the DAO queries returns null. This Room stuff is garbage compared to old Sqlite. Maybe it's good for huge, complex apps with thousands or tens of thousands of database records, but for my small app, heck no.

Dude, is nice you teaching anyone who wants to learn about ROOM DB, but it's not nice you asking to follow every minute.... A lot of people lose focus with these banners

Hey there I'm creating a chat app and I'm storing the chat messages of each person when I click on them but once I have created a room db it is storing the chat messages of all of them . the thing I need is whenever I click one of my friends chat button a specific room db for them has to open which contains only the chat messages of them and mine. Pls help me to solve this.
