I hesitated watching this video because the narrator wasn't professional like Charleston Heston etc. but I'm glad I'm did. It was more personable, has tidbits of info and comments you can relate to but wouldn't ever hear them in a production video. Thanks! I missed a few sentences, I think due to the British? accent.

Blurring out images we've been viewing for 85 years is inexcusable!

With all due respect, the Mark 13 aerial Torpedo worked just fine (unlike the sub-launched Mark 14). It was poor US pilot aim

In Admiral Nagumo's defense he intended to go down with his ship but was too loyal to Admiral Yamamoto to disobey an order. Nagumo transferred his flag to a cruiser after Admiral Yamamoto gave him a direct order to do so. Nagumo said that he was going down with Akagi in apology to the Emperor for his failure to destroy the enemy when Yamamoto ordered him to transfer his flag to the cruiser Nagara. Yamamoto said that the failure was not Nagumo's fault and that the only apology to the Emperor was that of Yamamoto. Nagumo went on to lead several other battles but ended up committing suicide at Saipan on July 6, 1944 rather than be captured by the American Marines when they recaptured the island from Japan.

breezy painfully unfunny cracks and pompous inflated rhetoric. An effort to untangle the point from the morass of verbiage.
