Superb video! Thanks!
Ответитьthanks again for a great video!! sometime your are "brushing" the wanted changes . . . how do you do that ?
ОтветитьHow do you select flagged photos in Lightroom cc?
ОтветитьHi Colin, great video! Could you please let me know if I can have l Lightroom Classic (Oct 2023 Update) on Windows 10 21H2 without any problems? According to Adobe's website, version 22H2 is required. I've actually installed it on 21H2, but I'm wondering if I'll have any problems with it. I have Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, which cannot be upgraded to 22H2.
ОтветитьIs there a way to turn off profiles? I want to see the original image, not an adaptation, when shooting RAW.
ОтветитьThe blur feature is cool, but sadly it opens up to more turd polishing. People taking shi11y photos without much of a thought or artistic consideration are going to try and salvage those in post.
ОтветитьWhat are snapshots? I've not heard of this before. Thank you!
ОтветитьBasically almost Photoshop can do the same things and same new features in Photoshop
ОтветитьThe donut ring-shaped bokeh preset is typical for mirror lenses (those with telescope-like construction), sop they are not so odd :) And they have nothing to do with DSLRs, actually :)
ОтветитьLove the new blur and color features.
Ответитьis this available for Photoshop? What version. If not, when and will you do a tutorial on it for Photoshop

Bang up to date now. Thanks
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Im learning a lot from your channel . Thank you 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
ОтветитьHi Colin: That was painful.
If you do not uncheck the HDR buttons in the LR Sync dialog - and have checked the 'check all' box it will add all the code into the transfer to PS and you now have a long wait. Something IMO should be shouted out to all to make sure everyone knows.
Adobe should have disabled these check boxes if you are not working with HDR.

Hi Colin:
I just did a second test using 4 images and it took 15 min to bring them over. Looks like Adobe left a huge bug in the new system. And you can't go back one on LR because it changed the catalog.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Bruce B
I did the update to the new LR 13.01 today and all looks fine. Except I decided to edit 7 images using ACR for a stack in PS.
All straight forward, just a bit of clean and one corner used the healing tool.
Then edit in PS as layers. - now almost 25 min and still only the 6th image opening in PS.
Do you know if this is a bug or have heard of anything like this?
Images are all NEF - RAW from a D850. I stacked 43 the other day using the exact same steps and done in under 5 min.
Would appreciate your insite into this if possible.
Thank you - Bruce B
How do I update my LRC to get these new features. It says is up-to-date. However I cant see any of these new features. What am I missing..?
ОтветитьExcellent video as always! I would like you to go in more details on the Lens Blur. Thanks!
ОтветитьFor me <Color Point> was missing (existed in PS till 2016) and it's super useful and easy to use.
ОтветитьIf it continues, Lenses manufacturers such as Canon won’t be able to sell their premiums lenses as with lightroom you will be able to had the bokeh and blur that premium lenses provide.
Ответитьyou are a master TY
ОтветитьWith the Bokeh choices the Ring doughnut-shape is a Mirror Lens effect. Remember those?
ОтветитьAdobe Rocks
Just add the good content aware to LR
So I don't have to jump between LR and PS
so all new updates are gimmicky stuff?... hmmm...
give me a one button clean dust spots. that would be useful
Slightly disappointed about the AI stuff, when the image is getting to be just raw material for a completely different outcome. I think therefore that the older versions of PS and Lightroom are preferable (or use Affinity Photo which so far hasn't gone down that path). Just my 2 cents.
ОтветитьThis HDR thing is utter BS. Something that does not print, shall not be in a photograph. Period. All it needs is no electricity, and all that color depth goes where the sun not doesn’t shine.
Ответитьi down loaded it but not got these functions what is wrong
ОтветитьPoint color by far! But love the whole thing.
ОтветитьThe blue doesn’t look good to me
ОтветитьCould you make a video about the Lightroom / Photoshop edit “ handoff? It is not working too well for me since the upgrade of both Photoshop and the new Lightroom version 13.
ОтветитьOh shit. I just got my photos reorganized after the last update. I don’t have 300 more hours to build my catalogue all over again. FU light room!
ОтветитьI can see how Point Color can be helpful but don't see a need for HDR. The end user of my photos may not be able to use the final output of the HDR.
ОтветитьPhotography is not going to be the same with all the AI's.
Ответитьhi Colin, please do you know how we can use enhanced denoise, but be able to get rid of the "enhanced-nr" it renames each file to? renaming by hand is such a waste of time when you have many files to rename.
ОтветитьTime stamps please!!!
ОтветитьUpdate option not showing up on any of my computers. 🤬
Ответитьwhat even is reality anymore 🤪
ОтветитьAll these features are excellent.
ОтветитьPoint Color is really the best feature for me!
ОтветитьI'd like to see more use case scenarios on when and why to use HDR outputs. ...thanks for all you do.
Ответитьnice feature that you have explained thanks a lox
ОтветитьIf they know how to blur a photo when will we have the option to bring to focus a blurry image? We can add and remove things it should be "easy" to remove a blur.
ОтветитьI've had a go with the lens blur. Its a bit gimmicky TBH and seems more trouble than its worth at this point. Maybe it will improve significant'y over time with updates.
ОтветитьIs there any way to apply HSL adjustments with a mask I.e. background? It’s killing me waiting for the ability to do that in Lightroom.
ОтветитьExcellant, much better than the previous video I watched on this "another contributor"
ОтветитьThis is awesome, now you can make your 4000$ camera pic looks like shot with an iPhone
ОтветитьWhat would the workflow look like if I wanted to take pictures from a timelapse, give them HDR in lightroom and bring them to Premiere Pro as an HDR video?
ОтветитьAll I've really wanted is HSL adjustments in masking. They added curves but that doesn't help me. Seems so simple to add
