It's not perfect or metal. And i don't like clickbait
ОтветитьIve played guitar for many many years but ive never been very good at dialing in tone on sims. This absolutely turned my trash tones into something usable on archetype plini. Thank you so much
ОтветитьThis video helped me so much. Thanks!
ОтветитьI use Plini but load a Marshall 1690 Impulse response, the sound are so killer
ОтветитьNice video. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you verr very much. Without big "effekts" or "Screens" this gentleman calmly explain - perfectly - what it needs to record really nice tone! Thak you man. Happy Eastern
Ответитьrespect, dude! thank you very ,uch!
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me why it seems limiting playing through my focusrite to computer and headphones rather than my actual amp? It seems like there is this very slight delay but I’ve been through all the latency stuff and nobody else seems to have an issue. Maybe there is no delay I can’t even tell something seems off though. I have a MacBook Pro and even used the low latency feature in logic and everything. But the feel is just not ever the same as playing live through my amp. I guess I’m destined to be miserable since I live in an apartment and can’t play my amp often :(
ОтветитьWell, that cured the ID-10-T error message between the keyboard and the guitar at my house for clipping!!🤣 This stupid human was using the faders over here-Wooooo-huge difference!
Neural DSP user as well. Much thanks!! Subscribed!!!!!
We he he talks about fret buzz but still has some 🤣🤣🤣🤣 BRUH
Ответить2 years later, this video saved me from just straight up abandoning my NDSP. The tone I got is sic and now I can play a lil more like periphery :)
ОтветитьThis video is gold
ОтветитьWhats the name of that perfect metal guitar?
ОтветитьMan when you turned the high/presence up the tone got so much harsher. In a good way. I thought, bingo - that's what I'm looking for!
Ответитьtone wood isn't real genius
ОтветитьReally good advice my man, only watched 1 of your videos but I'm subscribing as it looks like you got tons of useful videos up. ✌️
Ответитьthe way of dialing the cab is really helpful! i always hate that part on NDSP but ima give that a whirl
Ответитьwhat tune is that? i need help some one answer please
Ответитьhow much better do your DI-box make the signal? Im going into directly into soundcard but maby i buy Di box... thanks
ОтветитьTonewood in is a myth. It's been objectively proven over and over again. As guitarists we've got to stop perpetuating this marketing lie.
Ответитьless digital , better tone.....good 80s metal guitar like jackson or charvell, good tube amp with some metal settings and thats already 90% of the tone....most digital toys make the sound artificial
Ответитьjust trying to understand but, You used the plug-in and DID NOT BUY IT....IF SO, NOT OK, REPEAT NOT OK, IF YOUR GOING TO USE GEAR ON SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU MONEY YOU SHOULD BUY IT SO THEY CAN GET PAID FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE, JUST AS BAD AS THE PEOPLE STILL EVALUATING REAPER, WTF.
ОтветитьCurious on thoughts about the guitar volume knob? Starting at full volume and Interface gain know lowered? Or should guitar volume knob be at a low-mid point, and adust the gain higher on the Interface? Cheers!
ОтветитьLost all respect and faith when he started talking about the wood of an electric guitar.
ОтветитьGood video bro and mega helpful but the shit about guitar wood and tone wood isn’t really worth talking about. Glenn at SMG did tests with varying tone wood and came to the conclusion that it affected the sound negligibly.
ОтветитьYou ever tried helix ? Be cool to see how you approach on one
ОтветитьThank you Keyan! I learned so much.
Ответитьtone wood aint a thing for electric guitars and basses, its been proven, that thick slab of maple will do nothing to the sound. how is a pickup, that uses a magnetic field interference (the string) able to pickup resonances of a non magnetic material. simple, it cant. focus on transducers and pre amps/poweramps more than the material of the guitar. you could take a strat clone and put the pickups of a custom shop fender strat into it, and set it up good, and itd sound identical, minus the human error on the playing
ОтветитьWas fucking with my setup for two hours straight. Got nothing but shit. I am invert talented
ОтветитьOkay, so I'm looking for a bit of advice from those of you guitarists who are in the loop. I've played in a number of metal bands throughout the late 1980s through the 1990s, then life took over, family, kids, etc... I used to own a 50 watt Marshall JCM800, and couldn't begin to count how many live shows I put that amp through. That same amp head also served as my practice amp. Eventually I had to pawn that amp for money, and have been seriously considering psychological therapy ever since just to find out WTF I was thinking! Anyway, I'm now at 55 years old and embarking on my mid life crisis, and want to get into another band. Either that or go out and get a 19 year old girlfriend, but my wife seems to think getting back into a band might be the better option. However, the only amp I own now is a little Yamaha practice amp, definitely not suitable for anything other than practicing alone and recording. Amps have come a long long way since I've been out of the loop, so I'm looking for some advice as I shop for a new amp head to be able to play live with a band. I'm looking to be able to go from an AC/DC sound to a more modern metal tight low end sound like Five Finger Death Punch, and a few sounds in between. Any advice on such an amp head? Or does such an amp not exist?
ОтветитьThis is…… vomit inducing love. Pure love.
ОтветитьExcellent demonstration for how to really do it properly.
ОтветитьWhat if i dont have a fucking computer
ОтветитьHi Keyan, would you tell me how you use the knobs from your guitare when you're dialing in a tone. 0? Max? Half?
ОтветитьPlease Help me out guys I’m a beginner. Will these amp plugins sound better than a beginner amp like boss katana 50 if I use a jbl 308 monitor?
Ответитьhe still believes in tonewood, thats cute... hiZ is not the same as ground lift... js
ОтветитьNope.
ОтветитьMy gosh....what a beautiful instrument. And what killer tone it has.
ОтветитьGotta question there
So i made a pretty decent tone. But as soon as I double track it, it starts to sound like theres too much Mids, but if I scoop the mids a bit it really starts to get noisy in the highs...
Someone got an idea?
Using Bias FX 2 with Reaper
Hi Keyan, which tuning are you using hier in video on your guitar? thank you!
Ответитьthanx, really useful!
ОтветитьMany engineers have confirmed that tone wood does not do shit in the mix 😂😂
ОтветитьThe video itself is super helpful, but to watch you play is just super inspiring. Take my sub!
ОтветитьThanks for this, it was really helpful! I've been going at it more or less in the opposite direction you have, but your way of "starting from the bottom" is obviously much better.
ОтветитьI HAVE THAT SAME GUITAR
ОтветитьAy what you reccomend for my 6 string warlock with 80 58 46 22w 18 12 down to drop E? I'm not joking I can't get it right haha
Ответитьyour guitar playing is insane. i love it
ОтветитьThanks o much for this amazing video! Do you have any tips for getting good tones from guitars that have very muddy pickups (e.g. epiphone les paul)?
ОтветитьThat intro reminds me of killswitch for some reason
