The Long Dark -- STEADFAST RANGER (Survival Mode Update)

As someone who shoots in real life I really disagree with how you guys have the shooting dynamic it's such a pain i* t** a** and not realistic at all in reality you could lean your rifle up against a tree hold it steady with your d*** foot and make a quality shot none of this swing back in fourth garbage just total garbage

I cannot believe this is was 4 years ago. The revolver still feels new man

If you do add a simple scope you should put it in a region that's hard to navigate or otherwise overlooked maybe hushed river valley?

I am grateful for the hold option in struggles. It means a lot to me. The first time I used the new option and won my first wolf struggle I teared up. I felt so good and strong, it was amazing.

The revolver is in my opinion the best weapon in game once you get the mooseskin scatchel. It can kill a wolf, hunt a deer, make a bear bleed to death and scare off a moose easily.
It’s light and there’s a lot of ammo around the map. The only problem could be that it’s so hard to kill a bear without waiting a couple of hours or a moose without wasting tons of ammunition (even thought it seems to be a bit random, out of the two I’ve hunted untill now, one only took four shoots and the other made me waste about 14 bullets), and that it’s a bit heavier than the bow.

What is The name of new update and does it includes new episodes or not??

I had da same issue button reaped with bear in a cave and all other animals to in the long dark redux. So i quit story mode bcuz of that i cannt get though i triedeverything but stilll so i quit...

Did you say button matching or button mashing? I vaguely remember hearing something about strategic clicking rather than spam clicking to fight off wolves. I have a pretty good rapid clicking skills but it does absolutely nothing to me now after some updates.

I feel like they should add rifle variants or at least a hunting scope but it would also be cool if you could find rifle parts in the open world that you can use on your gun to make it be in better condition and to make it perform better for example it would be awesome if you could find a spare rifle bolt to put in your rifle so your gun doesn't jam as often

taking off your clothes should be added to the game. like take off your gloves before you can pull the rifle or revolvers trigger. and take off your expedition parka when you are indoors in the kitchen cooking next to a 35 c fire or you will start dehydrating like crazy.

Send also if you could fix fact when you run instead losing body heat you gain body heat instead it's more realistic cause when you run you bond energy energy you gain body heat. Just like if you stand still you get cold. And if you run you heat up. I know this cause I live in Canada Alberta province and I get snow and ice perience this all the time

It looks like amazing game but you need to work on the carrying weight capacity because one of the guys who played it had a headache time with deal with being overweighted and wait Paul shifting on him even when hes under the weight limit. Sophie fix the issues with Kane weight that I'll be nice. If you do our definitely buy this game

can you use the logs ,,haystacks, and harvest trees and bark with the axe , lots of things should be usable

and add so the hatchet, crowbar, knife and the rest of the tools can you make it so there melee weapons

can you add so that the player can shove a wolf with a rifle

Stone arrow heads would be a nice addition, getting to the forge is such a chore, and sometimes rng doesn't give you any ammo or nothing, being able to craft "weaker" arrows would be a cool feature to give players a nice early bonus if they can craft a bow early.

I know you're not meant to, but I enjoy walking around with the rifle in my character's hand. It gives me something to watch while I'm walking.

Bro nerf the energy wheel, I sprint for five minutes and my guy is already crying for a bed to sleep after sleeping for 12 hours lol it degrades so unrealistically fast.

I remember when hunting the bear was just using Jeremiah's rifle, and you could Spiderman climb on the walls to get a good shot without the bear being able to get you. I'm glad they changed it honestly, now it's much more threatening, as it should be. It makes it feel like a challenge when you have the bear right in your face.

I would love to see your backpack lose condition over time. And if left unattended it will drop items at random. One time it'll be your last can of food, or maybe an arrow or 2. And you would be able to hear everything that drops but you'd have to pay attention as well just in case the blizzard you're currently in masks the sound of your revolver hitting the ground.

I wouldn't want to many guns in the long dark but I feel like a shotgun would fit the game

A scope for the rifle prehaps and maybe a shotgun for birds

I would love to see classic double barrel shotgun in this game (with rarely ammo). Always when I play your game, I'm thinking how perfect it would fit in this world.

ok, does anyone else think that aiming fatigue is kind of stupid? "oh god cant aim for too long because the gun is heavy" wtf???

I've found that i can only play this game while feeling cold and in a hoodie

love the game, but as someone who has shot many rifles the shooting in the game is simply unrealistic. Even with zero training anyone can hold a rifle steady, maybe not very long, but that is better then the never ending sway on this game

Between this and pilgrim there is so much stuff for an old player.. maybe just quite enough, but you should not add more or the game will just change to something else (?).. i just wish games did not take forever to be played so that other experiences could be lived... they take kindn of a lot. I do not like PROGRESSION OR ACHIVEMENTS THAT ERASE or lose value.

I would like more traps and seasons
