It's just another tool... A human cant poke a perfect hole into a piece of wood with their finger so we made drill bits. A human cant design a complex rocket engine so we made a computer program to do it...

Rockets are old tech. We have electromagnetic quantum levitation now. They just won't let it go mainstream yet because they want full control over all the world's societies first. To turn it all into 15 minute city prison's.

This was not made with AI, it was created using algorithms and unfortunately is not functional. This is a good demonstrator of algorithmic engineering for AM though.

The more we discover the less our designs will appear as basic geometrical shapes and more along the continuous curvature continuity of NATURE itself. Additive mfg. will make these complicated shapes possible in any material, known and unknown. Integrated designs (previously separate components affixed to one another) will/are changing our approach to design because of these new manufacturing realities.
