Java's coming back. Think about it, why would they break backwards compatibility for the 1st time in 20 years? Cause Java 10 is going to be as succinct as all the "trendy" new languages. Java is coming back.

Guava has good syntax for the mapping initialization. No need for boiler plate. Or you can just init iteratively.

Will be very interesting to see how Jigsaw compares to Kotlin's module system, which unlike Jigsaw is designed for multi-platform projects (JVM/Web/Native). Highly unlikely that Kotlin developers will use Jigsaw due to the way Kotlin has been designed as mentioned above, also many projects are already multi-platform anyway.
