Project 1999 Green Server | Fresh Start Dark Elf Necromancer ep 1

Love p1999 but tryed dling on new comp keep getting error 1017 when try to log in a server it returns to log in screen sadj.

Never played Everquest or P1999 but I've always been interested in old games like this. SO happy I just found your series. This game looks pretty laborious to play and I dont think I'd realistically put in the effort so thanks for doing a playthrough so I can check it out.

Why run to the freeport newbie area instead of just staying in the dark elf newbie area?

Iksar for any class it can play. Sucks but EQ race designs are garbage.
No, it doesnt become hard to bank. Iksar can bank easily in FP - Everyone knows this. Dark Elf is a terrible choice for pretty much every class. And if you get past 30, youll regret it.

I remember playing this around the time it was launched. I ran into two dark elf players in that wooded area outside Freeport who wasted no time in chasing me down and putting some fire spell on me and killing me. To this day, I wish pain and death to all elves.

Old toxic 1500 players all need to stay there and stop ruining any other MMORPG, in my experience 80% of the server is either racist or anti marijuana to the point they stream snipe, remember you gonna fight them end game for mobs, hard pass on this server

Without using a correct MIDI soundfont for the new windows platforms, your music will be out of key and sound wack

Ah yes, I recall getting lost in Neriak quite often... okay, almost every time I went there. For my first character, however, I picked a wood elf ranger. Kelethin was just as confusing for me! Either way, the nostalgia is strong with this one!

I remember when I bought everquest back in 1999 they had maps of the towns with the game, so there always was a resource available for town maps even back then. I still think Kelethin is the worse, hard to see on a map when its on different levels with ramps + falling off and dying. I made a DE necro back in the day in original EQ but can't recall where it started me. Those ghouls killed my enchanter in front of necro guild when i was trying to get my jewelry spells.

Hahaha oh man, the amount of balls running from Neriak to Freeport as a level 1 to almost immediately die to a yellow con beetle had me laughing.

Neriak was always confusing, especially at first. Hyped to see what you can do!
