Amaizing video Matthew. You explaind everything about DJI waypoaints. This video helped me a lot! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьCan these waypionts be downloaded to keep safe and be re-uploaded should they disappear for some reason (firmware update or drone crash)
Thanks
Excellent!
ОтветитьIs there a method to insert a waypoint between two other waypoints ?
Ответитьsilly that the drone needs to be on to do the pre planned waypoints, i don't see why the drone would need to be powered on overheating on my desk while i plan a mission. The waypoint is saved onto the internal memory of the controller not the drone.
ОтветитьGreat detail. Thank you.
ОтветитьEnfin une vidéo explicative sur les waypoints
ОтветитьThis sure helps eat Charge cycles on the Batteries. Lame to have to have the drone fired up just to Pre-Plan a mission. Very wasteful.
Ответитьhi can you tell how to get dji email please john
ОтветитьHi......is it possible to plan waypoints with the DJI mini 3 pro?
ОтветитьVery informative. I'm planning to use it next time out. Thanks for the share.
ОтветитьGood bro...mastering it...thank you
ОтветитьThank you so much for such a consistent waypoints tutorial !!
I wonder if there is the possibility to set up a mission using fix overlap perventance among continuous photos taken on consecutively way points (as for example we have in “Pix4d”) so to make orthophoto of a place of interest ?
Great video! Quick question, if you pause the mission, can you stop recording and take pictures then when you unpause will the mission continue?
ОтветитьHow many waypoints per mission can be programmed? And how many missions can be programmed? I need to do seven missions over a construction site, once a week for a year
ОтветитьThanks for this
ОтветитьYou do not need the drone turned on to create a waypoint mission. Simply turn on the controller only, go to 'connection guide', then click 'camera view' in the upper right corner. You’ll need to zoom into your mission location, then create your way points mission.
ОтветитьVery clear and Professional details very helpful mate. Thanks for sharing I will see If I can apply to my DJI Mavic Air 3.
ОтветитьI got the dji mini 3 pro, how far can the drone go doing this ?
ОтветитьVery good tutorials as always. 🤝
ОтветитьGreat presentation. I used this while learning. I don’t know if the new Air3 uses the same software, but there are some interesting issues. If you have a complex mission that needs updated, you can delete, but cannot add new waypoints between existing waypoints.
I’d be curious as to how your drone flies directly over a waypoint maintaining focus on that waypoint. For example, flying directly across the center of a bridge while maintaining focus on the center.
You can rename a mission, but can you copy it so you can modify it without destroying the original mission?
Terrific video again, Matthew. Well done. I love your clearly structured and informative clips, please keep bringing them to us.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial. Thanks for putting it together!
ОтветитьReally excellent video, thank you! One question: if for instance waypoint 1 is at 100 feet. Waypoint 2 is at 200. Will it smoothly move from 100 to 200 on the way between the 2 waypoints or will it reach waypoint 2 and then only move from 100 to 200 feet?
ОтветитьYou said something about setting the height, can you do that for each waypoint?
ОтветитьFantastic video, you explained a complex function really well. With the second method when you are setting the way points just by flying, I noticed you weren’t really worried about making smooth flight movement, but if you are trying to record footage that becomes more important. Does the drone automatically try and smooth out the movements for you when it flies the mission? And when you stop at each waypoint to get the camera adjustment correct, will that pause be repeated when you run the mission, or will it just ignore the pause?
ОтветитьThanks. This is the most detailed explanation on waypoints. I will be studying this video.
ОтветитьVery helpful, thank you. I liked & subscribed.
ОтветитьGreat video ! I tried the waypoints for a time-lapse video: at sunset I flew the same route 3 times , once in full light, once in the blue hour, once in darkness... I wanted to "morph" the three shot to start from liught and ending in dark where only the street lights give some light. And Mavic 3 failed miserably. ALthough I obviously saved the waypoints and it was a simple movement ( 8 waypoints in total ), the drone didn't find theexact starting point , so the shots were different in angle and couldn'T be layered.... Do you have any experience or advice in this topic ? Thanks !
ОтветитьThank You ! Thank God for this video! Thanks again!
ОтветитьIs there that specifics in DJI Air 2s?
ОтветитьOlá, eu sei que quem tem um Ferrari não quer andar de Fiat, mas se pudesses fazer um vídeo igual para o Mini 3 Pro agradecia muito. Obrigado
ОтветитьWell explained, Matthew! It made me wonder: is it possible to re-rank your waypoints? Let’s say you want to start by making a pathway of 3 waypoints for figuring out a tricky route in a tight spot, something you want to have settled before adding more options. Then afterwards, say I add a few waypoints previous to and after the 3 made earlier. Will the software recognize so that the initial 3 waypoints are in the middle of the route and not just in the beginning? Also, POI counts just for static objects, not moving ones?
ОтветитьThis was super helpful. Thank you for all the time you have put into this video. I am awaiting the delivery of a Mavic 3 Pro. This will be very helpful to experiment with. Thanks again. Have a great day. 😀
ОтветитьThis is great, thanks for the video! Wondering if you can plan these missions on the PC?
ОтветитьWhat is the drone that you are using in this video?
I’ll like to purchase the same one, or one that can do waypoints. Any advice any drone
Why drone have to be ON and drain battery? This is so basic bug in this function :/
ОтветитьSuper clear
ОтветитьHI, thanks for making such informative tutorials and videos. Is there a way to use the Waypoints feature on the Mini 3 Pro? I know it is designed for video, and it isn't super accurate but I was wondering if you set it up some way to fly a route and to stop, take a photo and then move on to the next point, do the same etc and then return to the set spot? Reason for asking is to be able to run the same route at different times / seasons etc to then overlay images (likely with a bit of work to match them well in PS) and show the same image in different slices e.g. day to night. would appreciate your thoughts.
ОтветитьAverage DJI drone CAN miss the flight path with up to 1.5 meters. in my garden. that's enough to chop up all the flowers in the bed. But with the "DJI D-RTK 2 GNSS Mobile Station" you can make your drone fly on the exact same cm's each time you redo the path.
ОтветитьAny chance of this coming to mini 3 pro
ОтветитьSuppose that shadowing trees make the radio contact lost during the flight. How does the drone logic respond to that?
ОтветитьI am going to purchase the Mavic 3 classic so am very pleased with such great tutorials. Very well explained, congratulations. I had read that for the European market the active track distance has become a maximum of 50 meters and I found that a bit unfortunate but in the waypoint manner you can still create nice poi's at a great distance. Great. I am already looking forward to the drone. My Air 2S is fine in itself but as of 2024 it falls into the A3 and that is a nogo for me. The classic is C1 certified which is great of course.
ОтветитьExcellent training!
ОтветитьGreat video thanks. Holy cow so much to learn. If the civilian drones are this capable imagine the military ones.
ОтветитьI just bought a new Mavic 3 Classic drone only.I have a Mini 3 Pro with the RC controller so I am using this controller with my ne new Mavic 3 Classic I am trying to configure the C1 button for Cruise Control and the C2 button for Add Waypoint. If I'm flying and want to use Cruise Control I can press the C1 button it works great but if I'm flying and press the Waypoints icon on the left edge of the screen it brings up the add wayponts screen but in small print at the top of the small screen it say " Press C1 to add waypoint" if I press C2 nothing happens but if I press C1 it adds a waypoint even though I have C2 programed to Add a Waypoint. Any idea what's going on
ОтветитьCan you do a raw hyper-lapse following a waypoint route you created ?
Ответить"exact" - close but not exact. +-3meter in any direction
Ответить"River". Lol. That's a stream.
Great info on waypoints, thank you. Still with the Mavic 3 SDK was released so I can use Litchi, which is much easier to use, and accessible online, by a large number of drones.
