For google ads we should use long tail keywords or short tail??

So let me get this straight… I own a pressure washing company. I obviously want to rank well but it’s almost impossible to rank for the big keywords like “pressure Washing service” since yelp/angis etc dominate those (curious what you think about that). Therefore I should find more specific keywords such as “pressure Washing service in (town name)” or find more weird searches with low volume, but at least some, like “exterior siding washing company”?? I’m confused about this. I have my website. It has good content, but maybe I should specifically target LOW HANGING keywords?

One question, what's the point of short tail keywords if we aim for conversions, can we just include all long tail into our list
