thats not 100% diy 😠😠
Ответитьman you are awesome
ОтветитьVery well presented, bravo
ОтветитьDude, u didn't make a single LED.........
ОтветитьCan you try using some kind of equipment to measure the light output and derive a curve of, say, lumens per Watt for your specific lights, and demonstrate the process?
ОтветитьI know you're probably working on something much cooler, but could you do an update on this vid with Noodle LED filaments?
ОтветитьI "particularly" love you vids😅
Ответить"The power of 3 thousend smartphone lights in the palm of my hand"
Ответитьim currently working on something very new- a heat emitting diode! this will revolutionize the world!!!
ОтветитьHey Matt, the chapters for this video seems misaligned. It would be great if you fix this.
ОтветитьFlywheel or hourglass with mini turbine should power led strip. Lenses should enhance led strip to power solar panel. Whitest existing paint probably helps too. Chemically treated snow. Great video.
ОтветитьYess
ОтветитьI have a 3w cob, what should i use to cool it down? I did watch, but i still dont know whats the best solution.
Ответить"its probably a good idea to solder the wires before mounting the LED to the heatsink"
Unless your soldering iron is a blowtorch, it is necessary to solder before mounting to a heatsink.
I work with lasers, and even a tiny 3 centimeter heatsink wicks so much heat from the iron that you can't get unleaded solder to melt under 500 Celsius.
Maybe you could get away with using hot air, but there is no reason to mount to a heatsink before soldering. You'd cause yourself a massive headache and waste of time\effort.
The heatsink will absorb all your irons heat, so you can't melt the solder.
Also, many LEDs are NOT suitable for video. They flicker like nobody's business. Its especially bad in slow motion videos.
Wow, the "thanks to GreatScott" message was so tiny and transparent. That was really generous of you. Afraid his videos will cut into your subscriber base?
That was really stinky of you. I'm glad i unsubscribed long ago. Boo. Mean. Rude.
That wasn't a "thank you" that was a footnote in 8 point font.
Rude
Hi, I want to construct a powerful long throw LED searchlight. Can you give me some guidance on that as well as links where I can purchase the components?
ОтветитьI started to watch this see how to make LED lights, but this guy seemed to get hung up on white LED lights, so I stopped watching.
ОтветитьNice! One of your more excellent videos.
Ответитьcrazy ? i was crazy once...
ОтветитьNice video!
ОтветитьHey man I watch all ur projects its just amazing, i have query if you can help, can u lead me to blinking circuit for high power cob e.g 100w COB. I am looking for some circuit which can rapidly blink 100w COB
ОтветитьYou are awsome brother the quality of video the explanation every thing is beautiful
ОтветитьAre cobs in general dimmable? I'm looking for a Samsung D Gen4 light and tech specs don't mention anything about dimming capabilities.
ОтветитьAny way someone can do a DIY flood light with enough lumens to illuminate a full tennis court? Of course with multiple lights but maybe at a fraction of the cost? I would appreciate anyone who has knowledge on this subject, as I am trying to construct my own for personal use. Thank you!
Ответить57.4% of this video is the build
ОтветитьCan I use this setup to power two separate led strips that will each be just under 1m (~33 inch)? I'm looking to have the strips run down two sides of a wood enclosure and backlight translucent acrylic panels.
ОтветитьI am vikrant indian, thank you this details I am learninged

ОтветитьDoesn’t the phosphor coating on the LEDs lead to the emission of some UV light?
Ответитьi am looking for a bright led light or COB for my light house as it will be run off a small 12 volt battery that will be charged from a 5.5w solar panel as a yard ornaments
ОтветитьCan that power receiver board take the 14.8v from a drone battery down to 12 v or can the led handle 14.8v
ОтветитьWhat kind of savage puts the blue spectrum on the left and the red spectrum on the right? :)))
ОтветитьHi can we use these LEDs lights to generate enough heat so to be use them as a heater as 500W which is still 3 times less than normal room heater? Is it worth trying if so how can i start. With 500W we can use lot of LED to generate heat as i am novice in this area i just want to know. It may sound stupid but there may be a way.
ОтветитьYour video segment annotations are out of sync with the video itself
ОтветитьBrilliant. Thank you.
ОтветитьCan someone tell me what power supply I would need for 3W x 80= 240w
ОтветитьUsually when you work with LED i was told to use a resistor for safety reasons. If you use the Voltage-Regulator does that mean i dont need a resistor anymore?
ОтветитьWhy do you talk over music?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing😃 Makes me optimistic to try forbitten things with my COB LEDs on my rc plane without killing the LEDs😅 Hopefully i can come up soon with a video about successful installation with no smoke🤩
ОтветитьI like this guy.
Ответить@DIY Perks, you may have been interested in eco-powering leds, by f. ex. 1/3 of nominal current, when they have much more effitiency, even 2 times more light from Wat. I think it is the theme for whole movie :)
ОтветитьCheers to the under represented 4300k.
ОтветитьWhat a great use for Intel's stock CPU cooler 😂
As a PC enthusiast, there's absolutely no place for Intel or AMD's stock coolers
Please build a LED lighting system for a salt water aquarium
ОтветитьI this was a pretty good informational video I pretty much knew all of this but good video the only thing I think might be wrong is I believe the color temp is the color that lead puts off at those temperatures vs the filament which I think is tungsten or something
ОтветитьI'm making a bicycle light from an old bike light with a single 1w led with a 12v source ¿Do i need a heatsink for it ? And ¿ Do i need a 1w resistor or a 1/4 watt is ok ?
ОтветитьHow to make zoom lens?
ОтветитьGreat tutorial is it possible to do video on UV also can you show what instrument you are using and how to set them up to work I'm a beginner and have no clue on what to or what to buy for testing
ОтветитьYou should make a video about making custom RGBIC LED light bars with fully smooth colours
ОтветитьFor those who is looking for a heatsink for their LED lights.
Look for old used GPU coolers. The reason they are a good option is because the coolers designed for older graphics cards are usually not compatible with the newer ones. Which makes them useless, not to mention the new ones are usually shipped with preinstaslled heatsink, so there are 2 reasons for the old one go to waste.
You can buy an incredibly powerful heatsink for few dozens US dollars.
Buying brand new or looking for old CPU cooler is not that great. New are pricy, and used are not that powerful because CPU power package was rising slower in comparision to GPU.
You can find a 300 watt cooling solution from a 15 eyars old GPU, but CPU cooler from same era would likely be designed to draw 1/2 of that power.
