Once i won a crusade as the biggest participant i got 17k from that and 20 years after another crusade took the lands for myself and from 11k gold straight 21k,i really didnt knew what to do with it

One of my favorite things I’ve seen in CK2 was when I had both the hunting dog and adopted stray cat perks, and there was a special event where they were introduced to each other to get along. :)

I really loved all the history in this, it makes this so much more interesting than the typical “I’m gonna expand my nation as quick as possible,” playthroughs of CK2.

Which of these different Paradox games would you recomend to start out with if grand strategy games are not a familiar genre to play? I've mostly been playing rts games like Company of Heroes, Command & Conquer, Starcraft ect. but never a large scale game like this or EU4 or Hearts of Iron. I have however watched a lot of vids on all of those games since I'm curious to try out this genre but haven't really decided which one.

This might be extremely nitpicky (or just a misinterpretation of the shy trait on my part), but I think you almost completely ignored your character's shyness while making decisions. You were having him host feasts, socializing with the unhappy vassal to try and sway her, attending other people's feasts, casually asking a random stranger to accompany you in your hunt (as opposed to the option "I prefer to hunt alone") etc... I mean, if I were a shy ruler I wouldn't do half these things unless I absolutely had to, and you just did them without even a second thought. As I said, it's just a nitpick, but other than that this series seems fantastic so far and I'm very much looking forward to watching the rest of it :)

Hugues sounds more like 'Hugo' when ending with a short -ùh instead of the o, and without pronouncing the H.

Just found this series and love it! I would argue it is Just to take it from him at the end, for your character anyway. A ruler is going to keep tabs on his lands and if one is going to potentially leave the realm he's probably going to make sure that doesn't happen.

....okay role playing. Did a lot of things that I don’t think Hughes would have done. For one, he’s slothful so he doesn’t really want to do anything. He’s shy so he would rather not go to parties or chat with someone new. And he’s just so he wouldn’t try to bribe anyone. And, taking the drones potion makes sense because he’s trusting. Also, his traits and stats are gonna suffer because he’s in hiding. The plot powers not that high, bring him back if you don’t like how he’s turning out

You wouldnt have lost bourbon because the count level inheritance wont make him break free

Absolutely love this video! I can't wait to see any others. I did have a quick comment. You can appoint anyone as physician, it's just a minor title. As long as their learning is decent they should be able to cure and heal people. Also over time if they do a good job they gain the renowned physician trait. Just food for thought, no need to wait for that decision to become available.
