OK so I’m trying to figure out I just got another PlayStation 4 and my partner has my old one and I was wondering if I make this new one my primary are they still able to play the games that is downloaded on my old PlayStation, even though I have a new one

If I have my friends account as my primary and one of us was to get a ps5 would we have to both deactivate each others accounts and reactivate them on ps5 or can we leave it and it will be the same

Can you also do this with appilcation saved data?

Sorry but no it does not work cause when player 2 logs in and reactivates his as primary then the games YOU downloaded will have a lock on it due to you not having the lice ses

After u download game, do u need to put your PS account back as your primer (or your friend's account should stay primer)?

So I just tried this the first time to get elden ring for free.

I logged into my friends account and downloaded the game.
When I logged back into my own account It was locked and told me I have to purchase the game.
