I built a telescoping lightsaber in Star Traders in disneyworld and it was awesome! Single Yellow blade with a deluxe emitter and goes all the way into the hilt

I had that first Kenner lightsaber, hilarious in retrospect. I also remember making my own hilt out of a piece of a broom handle, aluminum foil and electrical tape. I put an eye screw at the end and used my Scouting knife belt hook to hook it to my belt.

Believe it or not, I received my first saber long before I had seen any Star Wars content at all! A family relative got my brother and I some. We quite enjoyed them even though the context was foreign to us. While the lights and sounds faded over time, we continued to enjoy them. A few months after we watched our first Star Wars movie (A New Hope, of course), we built some lightsabers at Walt Disney World's equivalent of Star Traders at Disneyland. Those still work to this day, surprisingly enough! When I acquired a 3D printer, I made a few replica hilts just for fun. Last year, I purchased the Hacksmith Minisaber. I've found many times where it is useful as a tool, and a fun one at that. I have yet to buy one of the more expensive lightsabers on the market, so your video is quite useful!

Don't call me a cheapskate but I'm 13 years old with no effiencent way of making money and my parents won't buy me anything I don't need over then Christmas of my Birthday, and I wish I could get something for less so I don't go for a Chinese amazon saber.

I have fond memories of my 1979 Star Wars lightsaber with the inflatable blade. I had to patch up the pin holes in the blade a lot but I still loved it.

I sold my Vader Force FX years ago before they really got popular as collection pieces. What I didn't like about it was the rubber started to get really sticky.

I just want one without a blade, to have on my desk like a paperweight. Which would feel most solid and convincing?

For me ive never really been attracted to character hilts. I much prefer custom original hilts. Then i can be my own jedi or sith.

What kind of saber would you recommend for me?

I'm looking for an Obi-Wan blue saber that can handle some dueling and is sufficiently bright so it looks cool in the dark and has some smooth swing.

It doesn't have to be super accurate or mega bright, I'm planning to use it for cosplay

This was a great video, thank you! I was curious, is there any company that makes custom replica sabers that are WIFI or Bluetooth controlled? I'd love to have a collection on my wall that can be voice activated with Google or Alexa, just not sure if this exists. Have tried google searches but I haven't found anything yet.

The best part is the insane price of these toys, where i live it will set u back 1000 to 2500$ for a regular mid to high end saber. Do i love lightsaber, yes, will i pay that kind of money for a ligjtsaber, fuckoff
