I did all of this and I have two separate emails with its own version of my channel that are identical plus each has another account listed too. But when I do the delete process it says about the branded account so I’m not sure which will be affected.

So uh I would appreciate some feedback on my previous comment otherwise I’ll just have to wing it and take a chance on losing everything.

So am I correct in assuming that if you set up a brand account and move your existing channel to it, all your videos, comments etc will not go to the "new/transferred" account????? or does it delete them from the original account and put them in the new one (I'm confused)

HELP: It told me me 2nd account has to wait 7 days as a manager before it can be promoted to owner, but 1 it was promoted to owner within those 7 days and 2 it wont let me promote it to primary owner in those 7 days. can i just leave the permission on owner for 7 days and itll work or do i have to demote it back to a manager?

I followed every step. I read every detail several times. When I transferred accounts it deleted my videos.

You would think just clicking settings directly on the channel rather than having to go to studio would get you the same thing.

Hello Karl. Very nice tutorial. So I want to double check if when doing this you indeed lose all your comments/replies etc? This would hurt an old channel like mine I guess?

My brand channel was changed its primary account by someone I had given a role on my channel and they logged me totally out, ihave done everything to recover my channel back to its original email but all in vain and now this person is uploading videos and changing my channel. if there's anyone who can help me will be grateful

I have a question though, does it change the username when you change the email address and/or when you change your account to a brand account ? Because I have the exact username that I want on one account but I want to change the email address, so if I change it to another email address (and/or if I create a brand account), will the username stay the same or will it change to the other account’s username ?
