My family is originally from North India, my mum’s side is from Lucknow and my Dad’s side is from Dehli, during the partition my we forced to leave our land behind and move to Karachi, Pakistan. My grandparents still remember their homes and the deaths my family suffered. But ultimately decided that Pakistan was the right decision, especially now seeing the state of my muslim brothers and sisters in India I can’t help but agree.

Are you sure India had Christians before the British Raj? And where did these Christians come from?

Because the English did despicable things and are War Criminals and in the process of committing war crimes they created a mess that cannot be fixed, like Ireland.

كيف تتجنب هذا الألم...؟
والأهم كيف تحافظ على القلب من أذى تلك الكلمات الجارحة ، لكي لا تصيبك أمراض مثل :
الكراهية ، الغل ، الحسد أو مرض جسدي أو عصبي الخ...؟؟

يشير القرآن الكريم في ثلاثة مواضع إلى هذه الوقاية
التي نبحث عنها :

● قال الله عز وجل في نهاية سورة الحجر :
﴿وَلَقَد نَعلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضيقُ صَدرُكَ بِما يَقولونَ* فَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِنَ السّاجِدينَ﴾

● و في أواخر سورة طه :
﴿فَاصبِر عَلى ما يَقولونَ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ قَبلَ طُلوعِ الشَّمسِ وَقَبلَ غُروبِها وَمِن آناءِ اللَّيلِ فَسَبِّح وَأَطرافَ النَّهارِ لَعَلَّكَ تَرضى﴾

● و في أواخر سورة ق :
﴿فَاصبِر عَلى ما يَقولونَ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ قَبلَ طُلوعِ الشَّمسِ وَقَبلَ الغُروبِ﴾

فلك أن تلاحظ الأمر بالتسبيح بعد كلمة
( يقولون ) فوراً...أي عند سماع الكلام المؤذي...
* فسلامة القلب أمر مهم ... وكأن ( التسبيح )
يقي القلب من أي أذى يسببه الكلام الجارح وليس وقاية فحسب، بل يورثك رضا تشعر به يستقر في قلبك ⁦♥️⁩

- جعلنا الله و إياكم من المسبحين آناء الليل و أطراف النهار.

The English seem to be under the impression that racism doesn't exist there, that racism is only an "American Thing", or that "well it's TeChNiCaLlY not racism it's xenophobia!" (as if that makes it any better).

If anything racism in the UK is arguably worse because they refuse to believe that it exists there. Or that because Great Britain was a global superpower and colonizer a long time ago, that means everything is okay now.

Fun fact: India has more population of Muslims than Pakistan. In fact India has the 2nd highest population of Muslims in the world after Indonesia.

Its wrong to call Gandhi and Nehru as Hindu majority. They were secular and fought for a secular unified India. Gandhi even offered Jinnah to be the first Prime Minister of India and make every cabinet minister a Muslim. But Jinnah didn't budge and wanted partition of the land. He wanted India-Pakistan relationship to be like USA-Canada with porous borders. Even he didn't expect the sheer scale of bloodshed and human rights atrocities.

This brought a tear to my eye. Humans really can bring utter devastation to each other.

Don't say mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru represent Hindu majority. They are hated by Hindus by all their works till date. Gandhi was the darkest chapter in the Indian history who taught cowardness to the country and we gain independence just because of world war and Azad hind fauj of Subhash Chandra Bose.

India was partitioned through sheer wicked spite by the British and it shows their culture of hate and coersion and being the most Nosey country with the most Nosey people in the world.

Don't blame the British for what the Muslims wanted. This totally ignores how the Muslims colonized the Hindus. It would have been much worse if the British hadn't done what they did. This racial animus was already there.

As a citizen on akhand Bharat i don't believe in existence of India and Pakistan and Bangladesh. Make bharat as it was before all the chaos and discrimination

As a Bangladeshi, I regret the decision of Partition. It was all due to the British's 'Divide & Rule Policy' & hypocrisy of Jinnah & Savarkar & others. A whole country divided into two parts destroying the unity of India. But this partition will not last forever. India again will be reunited Insha Allah. Waiting for the reunion.

It's a common myth that the British Government wanted colonies partitioned. Actually the British preferred to create strong federal states and strongly opposed breaking colonies up as it was thought they would be too weak to defend themselves.

Many British federal creations survive today and are taken for granted: Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Nigeria, South Africa to name a few. Some failed examples include the Federation of the West Indies and Rhodesia and Nyasaland.

Wherever colonies were divided, it was strongly--sometimes violently--opposed by the British Government, including Palestine, India, Cyprus and Ireland. In every case, the government was opposed to partition and their hand was forced by the inhabitants.

Even in 2023, we are still facing the problems. Kashmir wished to be independent but India's leaders put a gun to the ruler's head and forced them to sign the treaty joining India. There is a lot tension and religious hate in India & Pakistan all because the Britishers were just lazy and refused to listen to the populace's will

Remember British was looting India for it's own benefits so British chose to quit India not just because of financial strain from the war, it was because of the great leader Netaji Bose effect as PM Clement Attlee expressed later in an interview, when British realized after the Royal Indian Navy mutiny in 1946 that loyalty of the Indian soldiers to the British crown was not guarateed thing.

A little correction : M.K Gandhi and J.L Nehru were totally secular towards the masses. The Congress party had a number of prominent muslim leaders like Syed ahmad khan, abdul ghaffar khan etc. who were the reason of a lot of muslims choose to stay back in India. It was due to the divisive policies of British , that allowed Jinnah and his followers to proceed with a separate identity.

As a Muslim I find this very sad.
