Install LUT in FCPX - Final Cut Pro 10.3 Tutorial

dont go LUT rabbit hole. you can do allthose same things on FCP. it just changing colors.and lut is just color lookup table TEXT file. and LUT only work on same footage it was made

Where did you get the installer's from step 1-3

I have Final Cut Pro x, and am trying to download the free lut loader from Pixel Studio, but my computer will not open the install process when I double click the installer. It tells me it failed to open. Any suggestions? Thank you.

my motio template folder is empty.. help

If you would like your LUT to show up in the Loader drop down menu, you can move the Cube file to this directory in your finder :

Macintosh HD > Library > Plug-Ins > FxPlug > FCPXLutLoader.fxplug > Contents > Resources > LUTS

And look here for the surprise :

Macintosh HD > Library > Plug-Ins > FxPlug > FCPXLutLoaderFilm.fxplug > Contents > Resources > LUTS

Hm, do you know why the load an external LUT button may not be showing up on FCPX?

For some reason, my Lut loader doesn't have an option to load an external lut

I am on the latest version of Sierra, each time I open the Step 3 Installer it said that:
The application “Step 3 Installer” can’t be opened.

So do you just store the LUTs in an external folder? (not in FCPX)
