hello Mr Tim Wilborne thank you for the efforts made to teatche us how to trublshout our wiring circuit . that was great your video about th NPN and PNP i am very happy now . cheers from Morocco
ОтветитьGood evening
I would like to get a kit plc training like you have to start working with plc
Or where I can buy it
This is a great video! does the FP- terminal wiring to the DC common only work for inputs 0-7 and there is a separate DC common for inputs 8-15? or does FP- cover the commons for all 16 inputs?
ОтветитьHow is a safety signal (sensor) wired? and how DCS or RIN instructions works?
ОтветитьDont get it so your checking source power for button not working
ОтветитьGood video. The wiring diagram was great for clarity. Would be nice if camera zoomed in more on the terminals and their markings.
ОтветитьCan you try , different sensor and how to wired it on PLC. For example 2 wire proximity sensor
ОтветитьThank you for all that info!
ОтветитьExcellent video, Thanks Tim for share you knowledge
ОтветитьHi Tim, I looked for the wiring diagram in the link you placed above, but couldn't find it. Would you mind directing me to that diagram?
ОтветитьThanks for the videos. I'm Very new to PLC's and I am attempting to use an open source plc for my senior project. Would you suggest a power distribution block to hump the power from Inputs? I have a very small workspace and want to clean up the wiring. Any help is appreciated.
ОтветитьThank you for the initial PLC training
ОтветитьHi Tim, this is Rudy Bart from Los Angeles, CA
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьWhat are the wire color standards for 24VDC wiring?
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьHey Tim , I don’t need physical inputs and outputs wired for the LEDs to light up , correct ? I though I have always tested code by just making sure the LEDs were lighting up when testing code. I am in a debate with a redditor who says I need physical IO connected to test the PLC IO.
ОтветитьThis was great. I have one of these PLCs and didn't want to use the commons on the cards when I have more than enough room to use the external terminal blocks for common and power and then just feed it back into the card. Thanks Tim.
ОтветитьI am preparing for compact logix plc interview, without even seeing the compact logix plc 😑😑.
Hope this video helps me. I mentioned in my resume that i know compact logix plc. Lets see tomorrow...
God bless your family. I'm from Brazil.
ОтветитьWhat software do you use to draw up the schematics?
ОтветитьWhat is the cost of the trainer.
ОтветитьNever disappointed with your instructions Tim very good video.
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьThanks Tim, I really appreciate the efforts and time you spend to make these videos, this is very useful to watch.
Can you please tell me when can I use the four V terminals in the Input side and the four C terminals in the Output side ?
I have 3 Interviews This up coming week in Phoenix AZ. for Industrial Controls Technician.
Your training videos are EXCEPTIONAL in detail and theory. ALMOST every video you make.
I have to KNOW for the Interviews. THANK YOU for your research...Save my ass.
Why is FP plus and minus not internally jumped
ОтветитьWhat gage wire you do normally use for your PLC writing, is it single solid copper wire or twisted pair?
ОтветитьIt was designed to have 2 separate power supplies and touches on this in the product manual
ОтветитьWhat does FP+ and FP- stand for? Great video!
ОтветитьHi Tim, can you please tell me what are the terminals for FP- and FP+ when I am using AB Compactlogix 1769-L24ER QBFC1B? I am using com (DC IN) of this unit as FP-, but I don't know which terminal to use as FP+.
ОтветитьVery good learning experience in wiring. Can you make Video about the remote I/O connections in compact logix using Ethernet communications.
ОтветитьHi Tim What is the full form of fp+ and Fp- ?
ОтветитьHi Tim,
The I/O light on the PLC is flashing and also show an "I/O not connected" on the software. I powered up the FP + and - and still no change. Is this still a wiring issue? This is a new PLC.
Good work brother
ОтветитьHi Tim,
Suggestion for the "power jumpers " make some from solid wire, that way are pre made and it can clean up the layout. Makes troubleshooting easier .
What software do you use to create your wiring diagrams?
Ответитьhey Tim, many thanks for this awesome series, I have asked you a question in other video, I got an issue with my PLC (compactlogix l30erm) a major error code 3 type 16 I/O module connection Error, I cleared the error everything got back to the normal for one day, on the next day I got the same error what should I do before I say I/O module is damaged? you advice please.
Ответитьsalute to the guy who is playing game in the background haahha :)
ОтветитьGreat video Tim, many thanks. Hope you'll keep doing this, very helpful.
ОтветитьI have this Trainer TW CONTROLS TRN-ICP-RA5000-AIO, but mistakenly overwritten the original PLC Program. Can you provide a link to download it.
ОтветитьTIM;
great video.
do you have any videos on how to surge protect and how to isolate inputs and outputs
You put one wire on fp - for button 1 how are the other switches using it ?
