another solution that keeps the text editable is this:
- select all the text objects
- go to object, envelope distort, make with warp
- choose anything and try saving again
It should save.. when you reopen the file, just release the envelope warp and you should have all your text back

Actually this only worked if you save it withiout pdf capablilties - AND IF YOU DO THIS ITS FUCKING WORTHLESS TO PLACE IN INDESIGN
SOOO. THE TEXT IS THE ISSUE. DO NOT USE OTF FONTS...USE TFF FONTS ONLY. COPY YOUR DRAWING TO A NEW FILE AND ONLY USE GOOD FONTS. PROBLEM SOLVED AND NO NEED TO RESORT TO SHIT VECTOR TEXT LIKE THIS IS SAYING

Thank you for posting this but it doesn't solve the problem. If you have substantial text in your design, outlining all the fonts increases the file size and you can't edit text any more.
Adobe has to to solve this problem fast.
