We placed candles in our windows that Sunday night....then The Stanfields sang this.....man did that hit us hard. We may not be right there...for you....we are with you in thoughts and prayers.

On this 11th day of November, a day of remembrance. I give thanks to the heroes that selfishly fought for me without ever even knowing if I would be worthy of their sacrifice. I also give thanks to other heros of mine who unselfishly share their gifts of music souly for the hope that it may help in the healing process . There are many great musicians everywhere, it’s fact. But then there’s the amazing ones, like The Stanfields. I say to you guys, thank you for being the model for constant. For the assuring voice of buoyancy and sheltering guidance to push uncertainty far beyond the breakers in the dark, and for as much, the will to resurface when they unknowingly crest. The catalog of songs you have amassed has long since become the soundtrack of life I turn to and reach for because no matter the motion on the ball coming towards me I can with confidence find the required feeling through song which allows me to adapt and overcome what may, without ever loosing the stride of progress. Through the vast selection and wide array of brilliantly designed lyrical spins I can easily find many different emotions to harness. Gumption, morality, humanity, empathy, the list goes down any path you may want or need to travel.
Thank you for giving of yourselves, something of which, ourselves can never fully repay the same way.
