Any advice on tackling this BDR starting at the Canadian border?
I have no desire to make my way to NY or any heavily populated cities so I'd probably try to find an alternate route back from around the middle of the BDR.
Awesome. Time to put some knobbies on my K1600GTL lol
ОтветитьMaybe BDR could create an app so riders could plan routes/link together, in real time pinpoint spots on the route that maybe closed/blocked etc etc. could be very neat and helpful and get people out there that may be hesitant to otherwise. I would definitely use it. Maybe there’s already such a thing?

ОтветитьThis route seriously misses some of the best parts of NY.
ОтветитьA great route. We did a seven day, 3300 km. loop from Picton, On. in June. Big fun, great trails and friendly folks.
ОтветитьI dig the hard stuff. Don't ever take out the gnarly sections. Some of us live for those. The big boys can reroute if need be. That's where the excitement is! Good stuff. Love the rides and well produced.
ОтветитьLove the videos, thanks for sharing!
I have to tease though. Every BDR: It was the best one I've ever ridden & it was challenging, this shouldn't be your first BDR.
I usually tap out at 3 minutes...awesome job
ОтветитьOK that chick on the 1200 is a straight up G. I'm 5-11 270 (not obease). I sat on a full size adv once. There's no way in fkn hell I'd be doing what she's doing on that bike. Fkn respect. 🤘
Ответитьthe clsss4 roads are similar to what we have here in UK - full of character and contour - super job, would i love to ride this route as a holiday :-)
ОтветитьAre there sites/organizations that can match riders together for group rides? I have a klr650 and i would love to do one of these but i dont know a single person (face to face) that would even be interested. Looks like so much fun and a memory to last a lifetime. Im not sure enough to go completely solo, bikes get heavy to walk through the woods for dozens of miles to get help.
ОтветитьGreat production, Fantastic looking route, but man, cats outta the bag. Now everyone's gonna want to take Jocelin out for Lobbsta and a couple Moxies. ;-) My respect for each of you.
ОтветитьSuch great work BDR makers!!! Plus great riding in NE my home trails & roads..
ОтветитьSuch a high quality filming.. Awesome..!
ОтветитьMakes me a bit embarassed that my Tiger 900 Rally Pro has seen minimum gravel in the last 20k miles I've had it.
ОтветитьThank GOD YOU didn't get hurt have too much fun 👌.
ОтветитьLooks like a great ride and a lot of fun.
ОтветитьJeez you guys are sloppy! At least it looks like a lot of fun!
ОтветитьFlagstaff lake area is so much to explore and camp. Incredible
ОтветитьGreat production makes me want to get an adventure bike. Longest covered bridge is in Northern CA, Bridgeport.
ОтветитьTim so glad to see you out and riding and moto vlogging again! SAFE TRAVELS! I love the heat, but you are better off riding out of AZ for this summer ! Im at 3000 ft. In the Sierra Nevadas in Nor Cal, and we've had now massive heat after one of the worst winters on record😂❤..enjoy and cant wait for the next one
ОтветитьI’ve watched and my impression is too much money put into too big a bike for off road riding to inspire inexperienced riders. Do it on Honda CRF300L packed as you would have for travel on foot.
ОтветитьHe should ride for Blind.
ОтветитьHas anyone done this route in a Jeep? Looks amazing!!
ОтветитьI wish I could ride one of these American backcountry roads soon 🙌🏽 so blessed with beautiful landscapes and proper roads.
ОтветитьMan these women ruin these videos
ОтветитьI gotta do this
ОтветитьI can’t believe I had no idea these route existed through my back yard in NY. Especially now that I own an ADV bike, can’t wait to string all my favorite roads together with dirt sections now. Also cool to see so many places I’ve spent time at advertised on a well produced video.
ОтветитьI would sell everything I own and move anywhere in the USA to be part of a BDR team.
ОтветитьWell it looks like I'm riding the NEBDR route in the near future! 😁
ОтветитьWouldn't this be a Backcountry Discovered Route? Its not really a discovery if it has already been discovered. Its kinda of like how following a map is not really exploring... Because if you were exploring then how was the map ever created. :)
ОтветитьIts to bad that the logging companies shut down part of the Maine section heading towards Jackman
ОтветитьThat bridge is not really a bridge anymore
ОтветитьThese people seem like such a nuisance lol
ОтветитьAwesome job! What date did the ride start? August or September?
ОтветитьWhat an inspiration from a great and fun group of riders and support crew!
ОтветитьWow great video. I went from dirt bikes to duel sports and street bikes now that I’m turning 60 I’m getting into the adventure bike thing just purchased a super Tenere. So I’m looking forward to another set of adventures. Thank you so much for an outstanding video.
ОтветитьThis was one of the cringiest videos in adv / enduro I have ever seen. Especially because I’m over here riding the length of Vietnam on a rented Honda XR 150 with a backpack bungie corded to the back. The extravagance of your giant bikes, KLIM kits, and crazy overboard panniers is hilarious. Half of y’all can barely ride and your making these rock roads out to be challenging. I saw an old lady on a 125 SCOOTER on what YOU would consider a hard enduro route up a mountainside just to get to work. I wouldn’t called this an adventure or an “expedition”. This is just hyper first world comfort on some slightly rocky roads 20% of the time. Stop patting your backs for such intense mediocrity.
ОтветитьAdding this to the list of things to do . Thanks for putting this together. You go right by where I grew up in VT. I may change my route around that area for more class 4 rd time
ОтветитьAbsolutely superb film on every level…. Now where’s my passport, NE BDR route here I come 😊
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis looks great! Is this something you could do in a lifted jeep/overland vehicle???
ОтветитьWhy do 5'1" tall people insist on riding a 1200cc adventure bike? 🤔
ОтветитьI’m getting a triumph 900 tiger rally pro, but I’m not interested in technical riding, I’m not 18-25 and riding my 1975 DT 400 Yamaha, wished I still had it , that section in Maine that was intense looking I would have done on the DT 400 walking over those rocks, but I’m 68 now and I’m thinking the easiest alternative routes are for me ,slow is my motto
ОтветитьThis is amazing.. I live in CT and have gone thru many of the towns & roads featured here but not the trails. I'm new to dual sport. Training on trail and off-road riding technique, but certainly not ready to try it alone. Is there a website or group site where I could sign up for a group ride for tours thru sections )or the whole??) of the NEBDR?
ОтветитьEpic video. One day I'll take the time off to ride a full BDR. So far all I've gotten in are day trips.
ОтветитьFilmed perfectly
