It's weird because I also like Elysium Beta, but when I play it it doesn't have the resources in that starting area you like... all I get is a few concretes.

What Commander is best to use for Surviving mars?

One of the unique things about Terraforming is that solar panels get weaker while the windmills gets stronger as the atmosphere develops. So, if you're into terraforming, Wind is better than solar. It would have been nice if Phobos and Deimos were included in Below and Beyond. They would be outside the terraforming aspect of Mars and benefit from Solar Panels.

Hi, i started the same map but i didn't get the 3 research anomalies as you did. Not playing as Japan though, so could that be why? Great videos by the way, very informing and fun to watch!

Edit: And oh, playing on PS5... But i guess the maps are the same as on PC, right?!

With Space Race they have player vs AI.
Would it Be hard to institute play vs 1-7 PC space agencies? Yes.
But that would be a new niche for DLC option worth a Load of buzz!
Players compete for all the points from the Milestones.
Mods? Yes, everyone gets everyone’s mods, cheers! Or toggle all off.
Also team style? 2 players run on one map in cooperation?
This would work like Icarus or an RTS base builder, pulling in a whole new part of the gamer market.

The map has been updated I guess. I tried scanning your starting location but it it didn't showed exactly those research spots. Too bad for me :3

For me this location is always completely different... For example, water exists only in the lower right part of the elevated terrain, which makes me so mad.

Some one mod this with city skylines. Build cities and and still have to control all that and surving still
