This lady is so pretty.
ОтветитьTom Poston's name is pronounced "poh-stuhn", like "postman", not like Boston. The facts are interesting; this mispronunciation is annoying.
ОтветитьHe was gay.
ОтветитьThat's not Sandra Dee. It's Connie Stevens.
.
No I didn't 😮
ОтветитьOmg 😲 😱 😍 😳 😭 🤣 😲 😱 😍 😳 😭 🤣 😲 😱 😍 😳 😭 🤣 😲 😱 😍 😳 😭 🤣 😲 😱
ОтветитьLove Suzanne Pleshette!! ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьShe was not in "The Miracle Worker". That was Anne Bancroft.
ОтветитьOh yes.I loved her as Emily Hartley.
Bob Newhart had another good looking TV wife.
Mary Frann as Joanna Loudon on " Newharf".
Really? Pahston? It's Post-on, rhymes with toast. Jeez.
ОтветитьThis is a history of each of thier careers and maeiages, the title fasly makes you think you wull learn Why thwy separated. It is Unfair to do this ...false and unprofessional.
ОтветитьI didn't know that much about Troy Donahue but I always loved Suzanne Pleshette and thought she was really great in her career. So sad she succumbed to lung cancer too early. I think that any relationship you go through can inform the rest of your life. Even if it's just a matter of learning and growing from your mistakes.
ОтветитьIf it's not working, then get out. Too many women waste their precious love and attention on a marriage that is just not right, because they feel like giving it more time is the same as "trying harder."
ОтветитьWell you didn't mention Pleshette in "A Rage to Live" opposite Ben Gazzara. And you didn't mention Troy Donahue in The Godfather 2, I believe it was No.2 I always thought it was because he was gay. People should marry many times until they get it right.
ОтветитьClass consciousness of one partner along with infidelity breeds split ups.
ОтветитьThat was not Sandra Dee, that was Connie Stevens. Sandra Dee appeared after the Connie Stevens clip.
ОтветитьSuzanne was the epitome of woman! Troy was also the epitome of man.
ОтветитьThat's Connies Stevens in that first clip with Troy Donahue. Think the movie was "Susan Spade".
ОтветитьShe was in the show Good Morning Miami in 2002. it did not do very well and was cancelled in the first season. But Pleshette's role was funny. She was the compulsive gambling, cynical grandmother of the naive, idealistic young news producer.
ОтветитьLove Suzanne Pleshette. Beautiful, talented, and THAT VOICE. ❤
Was particularly happy when she turned up as Karen Walker's mother on Will & Grace.
Butterflies are free?…
ОтветитьNever knew they were a couple
ОтветитьIt’s Tom POSTon - as in post office - not PAHSton.
ОтветитьSuzanne killed it as the queen of mean
Leona Helmsley!
To have loved, even for a short time, is better than to have never loved at all. Suzanne's and Troy's short marriage served them both well. They learned something from it.
ОтветитьIt was a beard. Everyone knew it back then. She was gorgeous. He was handsome. He needed a cover, just as Rock Hudson did. That's what they did back then.
ОтветитьTroy Donahue was gay. I guess they should have been just good friends but openly gay actors had to go deep in the closet or they would lose everything.
ОтветитьSeen once you craved to see more of Suzanne
ОтветитьSuzanne Pleshette was absolutley gorgeous! I loved her on Bob Newhart. Troy was very handsome too.
ОтветитьIts pronounced Tom Poe- ston. Ugh
ОтветитьI remember having such a huge crush on Troy Donahue as a young girl. He was so handsome and Syzanne Pleshette was so beautiful, and I absolutely loved the movie Rome Adventure. I'm 73 and to me those were the days of a glamorous Hollywood with Annette Funicello, Frankie Avalon and their beach movies and Where the Boys Are with Grace Kelly and George Hamilton, who I also had a major crush on back then. Those indeed were the "good old days"❤
ОтветитьSuzanne was one of my favorites...... loved her in every role .....from Colombo to New Hart. ...fyi ...Suzanne was a chain smoker so why would her fans be surprised when she had lung cancer ?
ОтветитьPleshette and Donahue were beautiful.
It was the 60s being gay was the end for anyone.
Troy lied and tried and Suzanne was heartbroken.
Her voice turned me all the way on!!!
ОтветитьI think she was the reason i watched the newhart show faithfully. Always loved seeing her, she was delightful to watch on the Tonight show and was one of Johnny Carson's favorite guests
ОтветитьSeriously! Troy Donahue was gay. His marriages were doomed.
ОтветитьShe was such amazing actress and a beautiful classy lady too 💐💐💐💐
ОтветитьI adored Suzanne but her incessant smoking did her in too soon!🙏
ОтветитьBarbara perkins jean simmons also classy looking and liz type
ОтветитьShe reminds me of Liz Taylor Barbara Perkins also the Liz Taylor look
ОтветитьLate in life she married TV sitcom actor Tom Poston. They married in 2001 and stayed married until Poston’s death in 2007. Suzanne Pleshette died the following year, 2008, at age 70.
ОтветитьTroy was interesting. At one point he was married to both his co stars from a Distant Trumpet. Dianne and Susan. Mebbe he couldn’t make his mind up between blonde or brunette?…but he was a star.
ОтветитьThe main reason for all of that with Troy was because he was gay, why leave that out these days? It's also Poston, like Postman.
ОтветитьShe was one beautiful and classy lady, looks right up there with Liz Taylor
ОтветитьRIP 🙏
ОтветитьShe was very talented and beautiful. He was charming and very good looking. They looked good together. Doesn't mean they were good together
ОтветитьNo,I did not know
ОтветитьI would have loved her too much...❤️❤️❤️🌷
