How do you know what size pot to use?
ОтветитьGreat Bonsai 101 on Transfer Potting a Large Bonsai. I just started my collection a few months ago and i have killed two small bonsai's due to the fact I didn't repot with the proper soil that goes with a Juniper tree. With your tutorial, I can safely also water it properly. Didn't know the soaking part and the shaded for two weeks before setting back out to the full sun..
ОтветитьWow the surprise when removing the soil. Lucky indeed!
ОтветитьVery nice and clear instructions….. big help for seniors but beginners on bonsai art , thank you!
Do you have videos on wiring too? I hope they are as clear and easy as this video….
What is the soil mixture you used and what did you mix to make the soil please
ОтветитьGreat video. You are are natural born teacher. Thank you .

Al
Does leaving it in the shade for 2 weeks go for every tree or just junipers?
Ответитьcould your first cut have been left on as a sacrifice branch to help thicken the base and removed much later?
ОтветитьJerome, after rewatching this I’m wondering. Won’t the water absorption and drainage into the two different soils make it difficult to maintain even watering? Thanks
Ответитьyou are using what type of soil?
ОтветитьThank you very much!!
ОтветитьI have a small one growing on a stone. Have no clue as to how to repot lol
ОтветитьJerome, I echo what everyone is saying…your videos are relaxing, VERY informative and you give confidence to us beginners. When starting off with a nursery tree, is cutting the tap root still a common practice?
ОтветитьThank you! I'm a beginner and found this video to be the most helpful

ОтветитьAre you guys selling bonsai moringa and calamondin? If you do i would like to buy.
ОтветитьIs your bonsai soil mixture good for indoor plants?
ОтветитьVery informative, very nicely explained. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI am going to be repotting my Jades. Do I also leave them in the shade for two weeks and water daily? I normally water them every two weeks.
ОтветитьI NEED HELP. I got my jupiter bonsai tree 3 days ago. The soil is 40% peat moss, 30% dune sand, 15% perlite and 15% bark dust.
I have been researching saying peat moss holds moisture which isn't ideal for bonsai. Sould i change my soil? Or leave him alone until next early spring?
Is it okay to put my newly repotted trees back in my garage? My area has no shady spots, so that seems like the only viable spot.
ОтветитьWhat source do you recommend for information on when to repot my tree?
ОтветитьI’m going to attempt this today - wish me luck😂
ОтветитьThis was very straightforward and informative, even relaxing. Thank you. I'm looking forward to repotting a young little old gold juniper next Spring. I've been caring after him for more than a year now. I was supposed to do this last year but with the pandemic and all I had to postpone it.
ОтветитьGreat job, man. I really enjoyed the video.
