Bruh!!! I have had an old corded drill for 12 years worked perfectly. Bought a cordless drill last year because I was working on a project where I didn't have access to an outlet. Been contemplating recently on whether or not to get an eclectic screwdriver... Just curious and watched this video to find out my drill had a screwdriver function which I could have been using all this time...😅
Ответитьexcellent
Ответитьi use the hammer mode best for drilling concrete.
ОтветитьThank you 🙏🏽 been using these tools for years and never “exactly knew what was what. Now I know. That’s for the brief and detailed explanation. Need to do other power tools as well. 😜
Ответить""""" TIME HAS RUN OUT !! John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Don't ignore this message !! REPENT NOW !! God the Son - JESUS came in the flesh to die for sinners. TRUST that God raised JESUS from the dead !! By FAITH accept JESUS's blood alone as payment for your sins unto Salvation, to escape what's about to happen !! Don't say you were not warned !! ONLY true believers in JESUS will be suddenly taken. THEN comes 7 horrific years of God's JUDGEMENT, poured out on the world. I pray that the LORD will open your eyes and heart to the GOSPEL.
Ответитьi got 100 percent on this because for many years i was a Dewalt rep in Home depots i did many demos over the many years and its true many people have no clue about any of these features including the Brake on most drills
ОтветитьMy best tip - don’t use your drill as a hammer. Seriously, well done and very informative.
ОтветитьOne click the opposite way to lock the chuck in
ОтветитьThat's exactly like an impact drill.
ОтветитьThat ratcheting is the noise my wrist made when it broke!
ОтветитьThumbs up!
ОтветитьSubscribed to your channel.
ОтветитьThank you!!! This expanded my knowledge of drills.
ОтветитьWarning if you do not know these functions then you should not operate and let a professional do it and if you want a training program my 5 year old daughter teaches them on Saturdays
ОтветитьThanks for the information. I learned today
ОтветитьThanks for the helpful vid man!
ОтветитьI am glad you talked about the clutch. I have followed too many guys that stripped out every fastener they touched. I truly believe there as many stripped out screws or screw holes as there are unplanned pregnancies both by guys who brag "Trust me, I can stop in time."
ОтветитьThe only thing I didn't knew about this was the ratcheting of the chuck. That must be a fairly new feature, because none of my drills have it.
Ответитьawesome man thank you for sharing good stuff I really appreciate it.
ОтветитьA much needed refresher. Read it before but did not remember everything.
ОтветитьNice guide !
ОтветитьTrue mostly doesn't know about it im one of them
ОтветитьDoes the hammer drill mode disengage the torque setting?
Ответитьlose the ring tho - workshop injury magnet
ОтветитьThanks for the tips, Ewan McGregor
ОтветитьThat was very good, I learned a lot. I’m strictly an amateur carpenter.
ОтветитьWow, everyone just need to read that paper book that comes with their drills. I think it called a users manual, I hope I said that right. Norm Abram says it best “ Before using your power tools read and understand user’s manual before using you power tools”.
Ответить🇵🇬🇵🇬, , ,
ОтветитьHow to remove the chuck? Thank you.
ОтветитьSub + liked
Ответить"Hammer mode" is pointless for almost everything hard, just go get a proper impact with a SDS drill-bit that can actually move back and forth.
ОтветитьI've never worked a drill before...how do you open the chuck jaws?
Ответитьvery informative, super helpful!
ОтветитьGood stuff, many thanks.
ОтветитьVery nice presentation, and useful information. Some of this I already knew, some misunderstood and some were surprising, but you learn something new every day. Thank you for this video.
ОтветитьKnew all of them, but have been using them for over 25years.
The handle for kickback though has never been attached as since I stopped doing steelworks and using heavy duty power drills for concrete fixings, it's not necessary once you've been 'bitten' a couple of times.
I wish the contractor who installed my windows knew about the clutch becore he stripped out all the holes for the handles
ОтветитьYoung Man, This is a fantisomo (fantastic) instructional video! Thank You!! Understandable information. You have reinforced what I have been taught. Plus, this helps me to recollect what I have been forgetting...because I have not been using these tools for a long time. This video's quite succinct and a refresher course that I enjoy viewing. Thanx again. Howard
ОтветитьSir iam from kerala, india.i like ur video.first time watching ur videos today. Things you shared with us are new to me.thanks
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьEmbarrassed to admit I've owned a drill for years and never understood what the icons or gears did.
ОтветитьHammer drill option, I'll check my drill for it
ОтветитьThat information is mainly for Americans .. 🤣
ОтветитьAwesome, thank you. You're thorough, comprehensive & articulate. 👌🏼
ОтветитьSecond gear is great to strip screwheads
ОтветитьThankfully, i have a lot of very experienced friends as resources. He let me know that you have to kind of rock the hole saw attachment around when drilling for a deadbolt installation. Otherwise, the center bit can break off.
ОтветитьThanks for this video
