How do you make the pillar line up if your on Xbox

Someone pls help, so I did a platform similar to this one out of wood and was carrying a tamed Yuti back to base. I was trying to fly as high as possible to avoid any enemy players from bothering me. At some point on my way up the yuti dissapeared from the back of the Quetz. I looked for it everywhere but no where to be found. Does someone know what could have happened?? I was on a ptera and I had the quetz on follow if that makes a difference.

I build that one successfully but after I logged out and in the other day, the whole platform was out of place and I couldn't get it to work snap onto the Quetzal again. I play on a server.. I got the video in my account if you want to see what I mean.

Method doesn't work anymore they changed it. Pillars no longer snap at the front of the saddle and foundations cannot be lowered using the pillars. Fucking silly.

I don't get the middle snap point for the ceiling. Tried using vanilla, s+ and no clip to no avail. When you are setting up to move the foundations to the sides instead of middle how did you get the ceiling to snap halfway to the wall like that?

I cant get the pillar at the begging to clip into place. Idk what to do.
