This game might be my favourite switch game and definitely is one of my favourite games ever.

Too many reviewers rate aspects about this game a 9/10 but without good reason. Music 9/10? Why? Provide justification on why you think it doesn't deserve 10/10?...

But the BAD thing is ( and an important point )
if we already have Nier Automata on our Steam
( with all our achieved, progress, Levels, etc. )
Nier Automata isn't allowed to synchronize it with the Steam account (N. Switch).
So for example... all the saves from that game if you were playing on the plane or subway with your Switch, and then... back home...
turning on your computer and playing Nier Automata through your PC (Steam) will be a different profile.
That doesn't happen if you have Iphone, a Mac etc and ........( well, you can imagine it if doesn't exist between your devices the possibility to share your data ).
I have N. Switch.
And buying twice the same game (PC & Switch)?

Did nobody else experience black screens during the cutscenes? It happened to me twice. I can jump out to home screen just fine, so I assumed my Switch was fine, but when I jump back into the game, it still shows nothing but a black screen and there was nothing I could do about it

THE STORY IS PRETENTIOUS AND THE GAME PLAY IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR THOSE THAT SUFFER FROM ADULT ONSET ADHD. YOU NEVER JUST GET DEVIL MAY CRY WITH SEX BOT IN MAID UNIFORM NO ITS SIDE SCROLLER WITH CRAP CONTROLS RANDOMLY. THE COMBAT ISNT DEEP ITS JUST SPAM THE DASH WHICH IS ALSO DODGE AND WHEN YOU SEE THE EFFECT HIT LIGHT ATTACK THEN STRONG ATTACK AND WIN EVERY FIGHT. THIS GAME SHOULDNT EXIST AND IS THE POSTER CHILD FOR JAIL BREAKING YOUR SWITCH WITH A MODE CHIP. NEVER PAYING FOR ANYTHING ON THE ESHOP EVERY AGAIN . CIRCUIT DIAGRAMS ARE NOT ILLEGAL AND AFTER I BUY AND USE I WILL REDISTRIBUTE THE CHIP CIRCUIT DIAGRAM AND ANY GITHUB REPOSITORY CONNECTED TO THE PROGRAM

should i play the game first before the anime??? , it feels like I might not immerse to the game after I watch the anime

While I typically despise numeric scoring systems in reviews, mostly because it has bred this attitude in younger gamers that anything below 7/10 must be garbage, your 20 point matrix approach to scoring is actually really effective. It allows nuance and clearly communicates your abbreviated impressions without taking away from the actual meat and bones of the review script.

I know that this game could've had better graphics for sure on switch (handled mode), but honestly after a couple of minutes playing you don't really care about it. It's a great game with solid performance and with a great combat system. The story is amazing and i feel ashemed i didn't buy it on my previous home console. If you're able to pick this with a discount on the physical edition, go for it without a doubt, you'll love it

Having played Bayonetta 3 and Nier Automata. Which would you rather pickup and play again in the future? Im planning to buy either Bayonetta 3 or nier but Id like to ask your opinion on which to buy first. I know I’ll definitely have to play both games but my budget for this month will only be for 1 game hehe.

First Impression I absolutely love it, chills at first play but I can't beat the first boss. I am not a gamer per say, I only played BOTW. Just wish i could pass the first boss, 5 th times and still trying even if you have to redo the whole prologue...

Is it just me or is hacking mechanic really hard on switch. The analog sticks are poo poo when trying to hack route c/d

I picked up my Switch Lite the other week, looking for something to play at work. I saw this on had to buy it, so far no regrets.

It feels somewhat unpolished compared to Bayonetta or Astral Chain, but it also surpasses those in many ways, such as story and soundtrack.

I give game a 8 out of 10 the crashing issue and have redo some parts over and not fan of the flying shooting part other then that the game awesome

if you havent played this game you are missing out there's no other way around it. if you didnt like it you have bad taste straight up

EASILY one of the best ports on Switch.
Just proves that Square's lazy; No reason XV or KHIII couldn't be ported in the same way.

If you guys have not played this game, please play this game. It's just as good as the PS4 version, and now you can play it in bed, or hours away from you home.

I was interested, but I read you have to fight animals in a not so subtle depiction of it, can that be avoided in any way?

Missed this one on PS4. About 4 hours in so far and I'm hooked!

I'm not sure but as long as I've watched this channel this is the highest scoring game I've seen on here. And I think everybody was kind of worried on how well the game would play on the switch.

It was 2017. This game was robbed a spot in the videogame awards by PUBG. This deserves to stand along with Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, Breath of the Wild, and Mario Odyssey as one of the great games for that year.

I'll need to save 5% of my paycheck for this....

I'm guessing the Ultra Age devs got inspiration from this game
