As a fellow chronically ill person, with pain and severe fatigue, who really loves history and creating things… I hear ya. Just stumbled across this today, and I wanted to mention that the scenes are really cool, and I commend you.
Having ambient ‘living images’ with gentle sound on screen helps put me at ease and briefly ‘travel’ and ‘experience’ the world like I did before my health issues worsened.
It’s a balm on the soul, this sort of ‘window to the world.’
I wish upon you good tidings, restful sleep, and less hurt.
With any luck, medical science soon will make breakthroughs in understanding and treating our ailments.

i have a fireplace nearly the same as this in my livingroom, cos the fire opening had a range in originaly, i put it in myself with the help of a friend for lifting the oven in etc, it was quite a bit of work, getting the oven flue right & i also installed a back boiler for hot water, with having no other heating for the winter,( apart from various electric & paraffin heater,s) it has never let me down, its now been in for over 22 year,s & never needed any work to replace any fire bar,s etc, the bar,s are as square as the day i put it all in, & belive me its had some huge hot fire,s burning in it.. & is great for cooking on, & it heats more hot water than i can use. & have to run some off now & again when the tank upstair,s starts bubbling & banging more frequent, no wonder the victorian,s had one in every house,( well before the fairly recent gas & electric cooker,s..they were all everyone had to cook on. & i remember many old people cooking on the open range well into the 1980s, until the local council removed most of them, & replaced the fire with a tiled firegrate & an electric cooker, for them people that didn.t already have a cooker.

If anyone wants this in real life there is a pub called the halfway house at Pitney in Somerset England. It sounds just like this on a Friday night, fires crackling, candle lit. It's so cosy

I cannot tell you how much your channel helps other sufferers like yourself. While I don't have physical poor health, I have OCD which can get very bad a times. It is during those times when I seek out your videos to bring calm and peace to my soul when little else works.
Channels like yours need to exist because it counteracts, even in a small way, the rabid commercialism of multinational companies and reminds us that there is altruism, there is humanity, there is kindness in the world still.

Oh my lovely friend, I was so very anxious about you! I have not heard from you for quite a while and I feared you might be sick or something else. I am so so happy now to see your upload - I sincerely hope that this means you are in better health now. Now I am listening in awe to this masterpiece - I was in the scene from the first second I opened the video. I am not surprised of course - as your works are nothing short of miracles - but I particularly love the dark(ish) Victorian themes that you do. And this one is perfectly immersive again. Broad on the one hand - because it shows almost medieval (the leeft side of the image) imagery, and in the background on the right, it seems like it is from modern times (I maybe think because of the crisp and unbent lines, the glint of reflection on the glass on the picture). On the left, nothing is "perfect" as we nowadays use the word. But it is full of life and movement and action, so to say. And on the right, its much more spacious, and more sterile with the perfect lines but with the dark green floor and the reddish walls still retains the warmth of a small space. However the two parts seem different I can fully believe these are in the same place, in the same pub - I never had the guts to go alone in one of the historical pubs in London but I seen plenty of videos and images from their insides. This encapsules the spirit of long-existing places (houses, pubs, even cemeteries, churches and the like), in my eyes, they are bridges from past to present and a living eyewitness to so many lives long gone. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful experience again, and I hope you are well and please take care, you mean so much to me! I would of course understand if you chose not to cntinue but I would only accept it with a broken heart. Still, your health and peace of mind is coming before anything else! I very much wish to know about you as I keep you in my daily thoughts every time and I hope that your limitations would be as small and as non-bindng as possible. May whichever god you believe in, keep you in their palms:) <3
