People are gonna hate me for saying this but I was never a fan of AIC until Black Gives Way To Blue was released in 2009. It was IMHO more of a Heavy Metal album than their early 90s stuff. Ntm I actually really like the singer they have on that record/on this show. Also yes I realize Layne had more versatility, nobody has to say it.

Saw them on the US part of this tour. Best concert i’ve ever been to.

This recording is so neat, thanks for this! William is a great frontman, always running around doing the most to keep the crowd alive! You can't be bored during an Alice show, Layne era AND Will era! PS. Them Bones sounded amazing, at some points I forgot that wasn't even Layne singing haha

I actually think will's got worse unfortunately 😶
He always seemed to have this strained closed mouth thing but it's just got worse over the years it seems so restricting.
Singing through gritted teeth.
I love his album contributions and the gigs around the 10's were awesome.
This was just a really difficult watch whenever the vocals got too high

Wish they would play more Duvall Era songs live. Nothing against the songs because obviously I love them death, but I just wanna hear what they can perform best live. Duvall has a great voice so I wanna hear him performing his songs! I get they wanna please the crowds with the classics but new AIC has so many amazing songs that barely get played live.

I saw Alice in Chains live at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville with Korn. Single-handedly the best show I had EVER seen. The bands performed perfectly. The mix is what blew me away. Whoever does their sound is amazing...

When Jerry said they're "going to play a song for Mr. Staley" with Nutshell coming on right after, I couldn't stop my flow of man-tears.

Layne has left such a strong impression with his voice and character not just in the history of AIC, but the entirety of Grunge as well. I'd like to think that he'd be smiling today if he could see the legacy he's left behind. How people still miss him and think about him. Hell, he'd be proud of the way AIC came back from their hiatus. Not a lot of bands could say they've returned after losing a member! But AIC did it, and they've kept their style as well.


I really hope this shitty COVID situation blows over soon, I'd love it if they came to Hungary one day!

william duvall is underrated. a great singer putting his touch on classics. people who try to sound like the original are just plain unoriginal and boring. credit to william duvall for filling the big shoes and giving it all.

He has no personality. Just a voice, and not even much of one at that. It sounds like maybe Jerry just wanted someone who'll show up on time. Just heard Phil Anselmo with AIC on Would? Now that was explosive.
