ОтветитьGod bless all those who put out to sea. I keep you all in my prayers. I wish you calm seas and good fortune 🌹⚓
The floors of the oceans, seas, and Great Lakes are littered with ships and boats. These men risk their very lives. And we don't appreciate them enough. ⚓
"Just like a walk in th-" WHHOOOOOOOOOO
ОтветитьDid you not secure your cabin for sea? Any time I went to sea on both ships & submarines, secure for sea was done before we sailed
ОтветитьCan you do a video about Captains and what it takes to be a captain and what they actually do?
ОтветитьWhy not use a hammock and let gravity be your friend – anything to fool your inner ear.
ОтветитьI had bad dreams whenever I got home after a contract rocking my bed at night waking up seating it was just a dream thanking God it was only a dream
ОтветитьGet the Jet Skies out baby!
ОтветитьEnjoyed this! Well done
ОтветитьDo engineers work during this time?
ОтветитьBrings back memories of my USN days. Best advice I ever got for bad weather was: "Keep your belly full and you'll never get seasick." Lots of Saltine Crackers worked for me.
ОтветитьI am a retired international airline captain. I have seen my share of rough weather. Being out in the middle of the Pacific in bad weather was always my nightmare.
ОтветитьI can’t imagine being freaked out and seasick at the same time must be torture when first getting used to sea life.
ОтветитьI really enjoy your videos. I always wanted to run-a-way when I was younger and crew on a cargo ship. Unfortunately, it never happened.
ОтветитьDear mr . Ch.Eng, you are working on an island, what to think of 100m vessels?? Than you get tosht
ОтветитьChief I just finished watching this one again & I still Laughed My Ass Off seeing you hand directing the drapes opening & closing at your direction, I always Thank You for posting it for all of us to enjoy with you all. 😁🤣🙃 (Your Fan in SE Idaho USA)
ОтветитьGod bless and keep all safe on the high seas!
ОтветитьGreat heroes of the sea. ❤❤
ОтветитьWonderful narration. 👌👌👌
ОтветитьWhat currency do you get paid in ?
ОтветитьDo ships carry medical officers .
ОтветитьPagpapatuloy ko pa ba pag aaral ko chief? 😅
ОтветитьBeautiful Vlog. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьPMMA really prepare you for these kind of situation it shows how PMMA mold future officers on board
ОтветитьDo you have doctor on board a cargo ship?
ОтветитьI noticed that the first ship was battling quartering seas. My understanding is that twists the hull of a ship. Can't be ideal. Is there ever a time when seas are so rough that the Captain issues a course change to a less stressful direction?
ОтветитьBeen a sailboat racer and commercial sailor for 4 years
Rough seas are fun on some boats but on a smaller ship its pure fear
I have pictures I made 40 years ago that look just like that. Even on the foto's you can see the ship twist, the bow has a different angle than the superstructure. I had a colleague we had to tie to the bed otherwise he would have jumped overboard, just to get rid of his seasickness.
Ответитьhoooolllly shit i wana b a seaman now
ОтветитьRough seas make smart sailors go around the rough weather..you have a rudder..
ОтветитьJust as good as the last time I watched this show. Does the horn go off whenever the ship tilts a certain degree?
ОтветитьRough seas f*CKIN sucks, I THREW UP CONSTANTLY.
ОтветитьGood evning chif mlso po.
ОтветитьI enjoy this channel, and want to say thanks to all of you merchant seamen for braving the sea for our benefit.
ОтветитьWhy don't they use hammocks as an alternative to beds when on rough seas?
ОтветитьThank you Chief Malik For another very interesting video. I think it takes a lot of courage to be on a ship Knowing those storms are possible. I hope you and your crew always stay safe no no no you can’t do that honey can’t do that
ОтветитьOmg!!! You can do magic😁😁
ОтветитьOn smaller boats during bad storms it can get crazy - motion so snappy and violent that you must crawl on the floor while ducking flying objects just to move around. I was on a 98' stern trawler lying ahull for three days in steep 24-27 footers where it was like that. Coming off the waves at night your body would lift 2" off the bunk - you had to wedge yourself with your sea bag between the bunkboard and hull to try to sleep, by morning your joints would be sore from tumbling back and forth in the bunk, even wedged. Taking a leak on the work deck was taking a real risk, if you took a leak in the head you couldn't control direction, the stream would twist mid way one direction then another, hitting all the walls.
Ответитьseafaring looks interesting
ОтветитьYou would not have such a heavy load, if Indians do not obsessively harass residents on a street in Fort Lee, NJ to increase send. Recommended: you should come and rent house on the street and call police to complain about ongoing Indian harassment to increase send.
ОтветитьWoulnd't a hammock help quite a bit for sleeping in rough weathers?
Ответитьsuch a nice guy 👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьYour videos are great and very informative.
ОтветитьCalm seas never made a good sailor is saying back from the days of sail. On sailing ships in bad weather a man had to know what he was doing so he didn’t do something foolish and sink or broach his vessel.
Ответить❤️ form Bangladesh sir..... 🇧🇩🇧🇩
Always STAY safe..
I have a question, has any sailor tried to string up a hammock to sleep in? is it worse than a bed during rough seas?
ОтветитьThank you, Sea going ships should carry defibrillator as Germany in 2012 made it a legal requirement as they found the common cause of death is cardiac arrest.
