All these years , and this song is still great
ОтветитьJust had a co-worker name drop these guys to me and told me to listen to this song first. Im NOT disappointed. 😉
Ответить🤘🤘🤘
ОтветитьPenis dude
ОтветитьFuck there eournf giid
ОтветитьSister Rosetta Tharpe brought me here
ОтветитьI really liked this song- then i was told they were a Christian band, so i atopped seeking them out.
I missed out on some really good music.
Incredibly attractive lead singer, fantastic backgrounds- should have been more important than they are . 😊
ОтветитьThe second solo is just perfect.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite guitar sounds no doubt. Great band
ОтветитьKing's X and Living Colour need to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
ОтветитьThe guy is an amazing bassist/musician. Also the guitar chords here are wild. What a bizarre and interesting sound these guys have.
ОтветитьTabor's chops are second to none!
ОтветитьAnyone who doesn't like this is not human.
Ответитьwhats so special about this band? sure as hell isnt the music!
ОтветитьSupposedly they were considered a religious band, those soulful guitar tones and vocals are at least religious to me 🤟
ОтветитьAnd one of the BEST rockin toons ever!!
ОтветитьTheres like 6 words used in this entire song
ОтветитьHard rock 🖤🤘
ОтветитьAWESOME
ОтветитьMy ex and I used to run into the lead singer all the time in the ‘90s all over Houston at Cactus Records once but primarily at Vinyl Edge. One of the coolest local rock stars and bands ever and that’s saying something for Houston’s 90s rock scene. My ex (May he RIP) and I had all their stuff and quite a bit of it was signed by him and other band members wo even asking before we ever left the store and afaik they were just customers as well. They were great live too!
ОтветитьMost over rated band since Milli Vanilli.
Haters gonna hate
Yo dog
So you kids wanna be different? Crank this one up!
ОтветитьThis video was played quite a lot by MTV in the fall of '89...I remember it!
ОтветитьDon't quite know how these dudes slipped under my radar so long as I'm forever on the lookout for this kinda stuff. Kickass band
ОтветитьBuddy saw the singer at Corner Music in Nashville the other day so I looked them up. Totally forgot about this band. Nice
ОтветитьNo Autotune here people.
ОтветитьThere is a Kings X club in El Paso Texas.
ОтветитьMy grandma used to sing over my head too when she was praying I understand this song now and now I'm crying ❤️
ОтветитьThis is how you define "power trio"
ОтветитьTy Tabor is a guitar god! I wish I had his mad skills!
ОтветитьSaw these guys in Lubbock when I was going to Texas Tech Shortly after this came out.. they were awesome!!
Ответитьdamned shame how underrated these guys are.
ОтветитьTy Tabor must have gone down to the crossroads and made a deal with the devil. His guitar skills are incredible. The ultimate axeman.
ОтветитьSo underrated it's disgusting. These guys could jam.
ОтветитьYou said it this band should have been so famous it's ridiculous 80% of the grunge bands said they started playing because of this band 3 piece great harmonys trust me they did it better live I did sound for them for a few months it was a pleasure I wanted to stay but was on retainer from someone I had worked with for years so I had to leave
ОтветитьThis band. Yes!!! I miss those days! I'm in a close up shot in the music video We Are Finding Who We Are. This stuff never gets old.
ОтветитьJimmy Hendrix on Bass!
ОтветитьMy favorite Kings X song
ОтветитьWhat a riff
ОтветитьThe bass tone Dug has is the epitome of what distorted bass should be. Not fuzzy or so intense that notes are unintelligible. But rather, enhance the top end and midrange with a good amount of bite while leaving bottom end clean and big to help reinforce the guitars.
ОтветитьOver her head literally, or “difficult to comprehend”?
ОтветитьAlways wondered how Tabor got that powerful sound out of his fender guitar.
ОтветитьThis riff is unforgettable and powerful!
ОтветитьI realized for the first time that this video must have been shot on film. Because the quality is really good. I had the VHS tape back in the day with thier videos on. But back then it was all CRT standard definition. So you never thought about it. I'm curious how they achieved the grainy black and white because now I want to try and reproduce that look. It's amazing. Have loved King's X since the laye 80's when my friend Brian got me into them.
ОтветитьBEEN LISTENING TO KINGS X SINCE THE GLORIOUS 8OS! PERFECT BLEND OF FUNKY METAL ROCK & SOUL! FAN FOR LIFE! ✌️
❤️🖤❤️
This was the best song that came out on MTV in the late 80's .
