Dana had game two if she would have activated Nullmage and destroyed her own artifacts to use the bow and put them in her library

Did she even have the mana the 2nd time for that surge? All enchantments were destroyed and she kept that enchant land in play when it should have been so the devotion on nyx wouldnt of been enough

I play with some work friends. 1 of them an elf precon is their only commander deck, I always tell everyone else he's the problem and nobody believes me because my favorite deck is a drain/gain deck

funny thing looking at her deck list she would had lost if she cast her commander cause beast whisper would had been on the field

Everyone makes mistakes for sure but to literally see a blind obedience get played and then not play around it 10 seconds later is pretty embarrassing. I think Gavin was still in shock that Joe was not running the Mishra meld lol

Primal Surge in a deck of only permanents is kinda boring. I draw this card i win.... yawn.

This is a good example of why, when someone "goes infinite" you make them show you how.

As a primal surge player, the last card of her deck would have been exiled, and if it was a permanant there would be the option to put it onto the battlefield then repeat.. the land would have been gone, however this does make me wonder if the interaction of exiling the top card would cause one to lose, if there is no deck? Similar to drawing to death, but, not.

Elvish guidance should have been destroyed from Gavin and should had been in her graveyard.

I don't like that Gavin was able to take a play back when he forgot about a trigger (Blind Obedience) but when Dana doesn't realize a trigger after playing out her entire library she wasn't able to take her last draw back. Other than that this was one of my favorite TTJ games. Nice work.

I have a question and not trying to nitpick but get a better understanding of commander rules. Olivia's commander is light paws and she has a blind obedience in her deck that has an extort cost of 1 orzhov, is that allowed to be in the deck due to commander color restriction, or does the extort not count as a color identity of a card?

The Bow was the answer if Dana had a few fetchlands or anything to sacrifice permanents to increase the graveyard she would've won. But that's how you learn how to fix your deck and make it so that can't happen next time!

game 1 definitely highlighted how absolutely anticlimactic and boring Primal Surge decks are lol. No one at the table was happy with that, but did a good job of eating those feelings for the camera lol.

Awesome game! I love seeing other elf decks and how people build decks differently in general. [Primal Surge] elves is an awesome concept.

I realize the "battlefield" looks different as a spectator than a player. However, I think, perhaps, Dana may have still had the win. I think with [Ambush Commander], [Heart Warden], [Nullmage Shepard], [Reclamation Sage], and/or [Ghost Quarter] l, she would have enough activation triggers to put stuff into her graveyard and survive the draw triggers with her [Bow of Nylea] activation.
