“Need money for porsche”
ОтветитьWas really cool experience seeing you drive this car, because I've only seen you pull up in it or drive off. She's so smooth like butter. I'm intrigued by these sideways gauges. I'd like to try them. I think I miss driving a little.
ОтветитьI just love hearing all the mechanical noises your 911 makes! Just hearing whats going on is something special
ОтветитьCongrats on the 88k Tom! I only wish my cars were that low🤣 my '94 coupe is close to 203k (in km, not sure what the ml would be)
ОтветитьJust rolled over 94k miles in my 1980 SC today and can definitely relate to having to come to terms with knowing that a slight mistake on my or someone else's part could put me in the hospital, or worse, but the driving experience is just TOO good to move on from it.
ОтветитьI wonder if the smaller modern Porsches like the 987 thru 718 Spyder feel as fun at 6/10ths
ОтветитьSlow enough to have fun on road.
ОтветитьLooks and sound are more important than raw speed.
ОтветитьBeautiful car, man! Since I got my '78 SC, I've been considering starting filming as well. She's drives like a dream, so it's kind of hard to not share it with others 😁
ОтветитьDriver swap on the road is funny
ОтветитьDriving standards seem to have dropped precipitously since covid
ОтветитьThanks for passing cyclists with lots of space ❤
ОтветитьDrive safe people, especially when you have others in the car with you
ОтветитьRoad deaths are going up but perhaps more scary is pedestrian + cyclist deaths are going WAY up. Cars are significantly heavier and faster, coupled with the fact everyone's distracted.... yeah it aint pretty
ОтветитьHow much bhp is it pushing
ОтветитьI have a 97 miata and it feels so mechanical and I love it.
ОтветитьCool cruising
ОтветитьNice! i got a 1984 Porsche 994
ОтветитьI made the mistake of buying a 1983 911 SC with the 915 transmission. Hands down one of the worst transmissions I've ever operated in my almost 50 years of driving. Also, had I known then what I know now about that transmission and the broken head studs issue, I never would've bought that '83. I would've gotten the next generation, like yours, with the 3.2 and G50 trans. I'd probably still have that car if I did...
ОтветитьI know the flat 6 sound thing
But
I never had a real sports car and I’m waiting for delivery for my new boxster S
Manual
I’m expecting to be entertained
I’m 70 years young
Last 12 daily drivers AUDI
I like modern cars plenty, but my last 3 cars have been 80s enthusiast vehicles and I can't go back. It's just an experience.
ОтветитьLove it man! I miss that sound. As I’ve mentioned before, the 1977 Slant Nose that you drove a few years ago out of MA is in restoration. When it’s finished, I’d love to have you out to do another video on it in its new state. Likely early next summer near Chicago.
ОтветитьAka... "look how low mileage my 1988 Porsche has" 😂
ОтветитьHad an 85 3.2 that i bought for a song. Sold it for a song plus what i put into it.
Ответитьyou know the drivers good if he’s rotated his gauges
Ответитьnice 911 ride,👍👍👍,
ОтветитьWhy is air cooled vs water cooled such a big deal for Porsches?
ОтветитьBeautiful... this was therapy for me too
ОтветитьMy god, man. Every time you take this thing for a ride, I question everything about my life and start making new plans...
"At least people like it."
You've only driven this 6000 miles in 9 years?
ОтветитьWell done, information on your parking arrangement would be interesting.
ОтветитьI love that you love this car!
ОтветитьYou live right near me in MA lol. I take my Kawasaki Z900 down by that McDonalds and WalMart all the time.
ОтветитьVery cool! Even the 911 had that annoying late 80's "time to shift" arrow! Booo!
ОтветитьWhoever dies with the lowest reading on his Porsche odometer, loses!
ОтветитьAlways love seeing this car on your channel. I just bought my first air cooled car - a 1973.5 Viper Green 911T hot rod - and I’m BEYOND excited. This video totally encapsulates what the air cooled driving experience is all about. Thanks for sharing as always!
Ответить180 HP of fury...
ОтветитьLove ❤️ this 🚗!!!!! My road rage 😤 is off the map 🗺 due to stupid people not paying attention and driving like idiots I about died because a person in a pickup was in a hurry on a busy highway and he cut off a tanker 😠😠😠😠 in front of me
ОтветитьInstead of snapping your neck, you’ll just break the lower half of your face and be eating out of a straw for months. Happened to a few guys in the Miata community running no steering wheel airbag and a 3 point. No hate, just sayin. Love your vids.
I drive an Alfa with a lap belt, wood wheel, and no headrest 😂
Im have a question regarding your shoes. I bought two pairs of Sabelts and I found out that narrow shoes are actually too narrow to do heel and toe in my 944 S2 and my favourite are actually quite wide soft EVA foam sole DC shoes. Do you have pro tips regarding shoes for driving?
ОтветитьWow 🤩
ОтветитьOkay if I see you in real life I don't call the police if you catch me caressing it. I come in peace I mean no harm!
Ответитьi saved up 2 years to buy a crazy cart xl, locally a aircooled 911 is €100K here. Its like buying a second house... so keep on dreaming.
ОтветитьThat's the kind of therapy I need but my health insurance wouldn't cover😅
ОтветитьNice. But for us old timers I use to eat them for lunch on the back roads of Marin County in the 80’s with my Shelby Charger…😊
ОтветитьThat's the exact Porsche that I wanted back in the day. I could've bought one for around $20K in the late 90's and have regretted not buying one ever since.
ОтветитьMarvelous car, truly irreplaceable.
Ответитьwhat a beauty
ОтветитьI get the same feeling whenever I take out my 2003 SVT Cobra…..what awesome driving experience….My Mini R56 Turbo is like a fine edged knife…Cobra like a sledgehammer…..😂😂.
