What to do when the cards are “stuck” to my pinky? They flip up just fine, but don’t leave my hand at all. Like at all. Tried this for more than an hour now, with no noticeable improvement – card flips up 90 degrees, but isn’t in any way close to leaving my hand or jumping into the air – it solidely adheres to my pinky fingers pad. Every 20th try, the second card from the top flies off, but that’s not relevant in this context. What to do?

I did this very quickly by reducing the cards and starting with half a deck and then gradually increasing the numbers. I did find that there's an optimal number. Too few and it doesn't work and too many and it was difficult as a beginner

But how do you aim your hand? the cards just keeps flying too high or too low or too ahead, it hits my hand sometimes i just dont have enough reflex to catch it so i have to work on my reflex but it hits my hand like only 40% of the time it drives me crazy !

i did it perfectly on accident first try but 4 hours later cant do it still

On my second try I flicked the whole deck out of my hand and was left holding one card lol I did it reversed I guess lmao

I tried this and half pack of cards in my hand said fuck this bro im gone and went all over place lol. Even though I'm right handed I cant hold it in left hand and do it. I fail little less just holding it in right hand haha :D

OK so what I did is that I kept the card I want to shoot and shot the whole deck

I can shoot cards pretty well now, but they are landing face down. Can someone tell whats wrong?

I've been doing this move poorly since I started learning. It finally occurred to me to check for this tutorial on 52Kards-- I can't believe I didn't come here first. After watching Asad's explanation, I was able to nail this move after only a couple tries.
My mistakes:
1. Relying too much on the pinky. The ring finger really helps to stabilize the shot.
2. Trying to do the move too hard/too fast. It really doesn't require much strength to make it work/look good. In fact, if it's too fast, it becomes really difficult to catch the card with the other hand.

Whats your excuse? Mine is : "My hands are too small to do this"

When I pull top card by using pinky but cannot move a little bit,sometimes two or three card can pull not one. May I know thumb position coz cannot see clearly if thumb press down card or anything else like holding?

Awesome video, the moisture tip was really effective for me btw. Just the tip of the pinky and the cards started flying.

So i've mastered popping the card but i'm always struggling to catch it. It's like 50/50 if i catch or if it bounces out of my hand

Okay, I need help with something. I can do it decently fine if my pointer finger is holding on to the top right corner of the cards, and my middle / ring fingers are not making contact at all. However, this is clearly not how he is doing it.

He is using just his ring and pinky to make contact with the deck. When I try that, I fling 7 or 8 cards instead of one. What am I doing wrong? Is he actually using his pointer finger to grip it?

I just successfully flicked it into my hand ONCE where it landed perfectly and everything, and let me tell you guys, it is the most satisfying thing ever. Keep at it. Our practice will be worth it in the end.

I tried many different methods and couldn't shoot a card to save my life. Then I found this video, watched it several times and... I still can't do it. It might even be worse a little.

I can do the flip but I m unable to remove my middle finger and ring finger
