Watched this documentary god knows how many times
ОтветитьAt 15.30mins there is an acid track playing over Liam talking about the Hacienda... can anyone tell me what this track is??
ОтветитьWe are all very lucky they didn't release the Monnow Valley version of definitely maybe.
ОтветитьJeez the lads dad was cut out of noel when the dad was young, hate to say it , liam was just hyperactive eh
ОтветитьHow innocent did a young liam sound saying " my first time on a jumbo plane" its all mad,
ОтветитьAlways amazing to see footage of concerts pre 2000s.. no smartphones, people just watching and listening; no need to post the experience online.
ОтветитьThey are fuckin Hilarious 👌
ОтветитьBonehead, far too underrated!!! Fuck Noel, Bonehead was Oasis!!!
Ответитьcan you update the thumbnail please? nobodies is seeing it and clicking this.
ОтветитьThe last truly Great British band. Since then The Arctic Monkeys have come close but no one really broke through the way Oasis did.
I count myself lucky to have been in my early teens when my best mate introduced me to Definitely Maybe. By the time What's the story came out I'd passed my test and got a car with a CD player and we'd started surfing with a group of friends. Oasis was the soundtrack to my youth and I'm so glad they were around as the British music scene definitely needed a kick up the ass at the time
Noel = half decent voice, amazing song writer, amazing guitarist, amazing lyricist + a massive go Liam = That scratchy voice we all love + a massive ego. OASIS were my youth but to see us all deprived of a shit ton of quality music is a joke. As solos, only Noel's "What a life" has struck a chord with me. If they do a reunion, ill see you there dudes and dudettes.
ОтветитьBest Documentry Ever!!! 🎉
ОтветитьLiam in a recent interview “I’ve never held a microphone in my life” errr king tuts 😂
ОтветитьBITD I couldnt listen to Hoasis, still can't cos of that 'voice' - whining, thru the nose wanker - Noel? he's cool, a guitar man I'll have him but the other one? how to spoil a good song, get him to sing it . .
ОтветитьOasis is Liam.
ОтветитьWas never into Oasis but, what a great documentary.... once you've experienced what they have I'm sure everything changes and how can it ever get any better 🤷♂️
ОтветитьNoel is his Dads double
ОтветитьJust writing this cause it 31 May 2023 … a 30 year anniversary from their show where they sign … a random time to find this
Ответить"The Masterplan"
ОтветитьEpic, thanks for the upload
ОтветитьNoel Gallagher was the Dan Brown of lyricists
ОтветитьSeen so many documentaries and read a couple of books regarding the story of Oasis. The documentaries were full of talking heads who weren’t even close to the band. What makes this documentary so special is that you’re hearing the story from the mouths of the band and others closely associated with it. Some of the footage is incredible and the way it’s used as the story is being told is very clever. One thing Noel says at the end that I agree with is that after Knebworth they should have left it there. 2 classic albums and an amazing story of a band that went from unknowns to superstardom in such a short timeframe and all that went with it. That’s how I and I think many fans will remember them anyway. ❤
ОтветитьThis will never happen again, music and pop culture is over.
ОтветитьGreat documentary on maybe the greatest R 'n R band in the world. I love Noel. But his take on why guigsy was absent, was very immature. Mental health issues are NO joke.. And he as the rest of the band laughed it away.. (except Bonehead). Other than that: great documentary
ОтветитьAs many of us in the electronic music underground of the late 80's and 90's used to say...Oasis...a couple of abused, immature, dysfunctional Man City yobs who got lucky from playing simple catchy coke, speed and alcohol fuelled guitar numbers for the lost, pissed, unintelligent masses. Manufactured hype and pretty boring basically. So glad to have discovered psychedelics, shamanism, buddhism and creative (not commercial) electronic, latin american, middle eastern and african music instead.
ОтветитьWhy/How did they manage to get Supersonic sounding right in that first session, but they struggled to capture the true sound of the band for the rest of the album on subsequent recording sessions?
Why not just go back to that studio and use the same sound engineer? It sounds 'right' (for want of a better word), but those other early sessions for the rest of Definitely Maybe (which were recorded after Supersonic) sound pretty lame.
Noel - Sharp as a tack and as great a songwriter as we've ever had
Liam - The spirit of the whole thing but now a spent force, writing songs with Adeles song writers and a terrible voice now.
Fuck the comeback
Now Noel’s split up with his Mrs we’ve got the best chance of seeing a reunion. Especially if the bag 💰 would be big enough. 100 m’s!
ОтветитьWhy did they have to luck into McGee finding them? Why didn’t his chick turn him onto them, you know, on purpose???
ОтветитьNoel has always been a bitch apparently, Liam is a sweetheart on the other hand
ОтветитьNoel and Liam aren't the Cain and Abel of British Rock. They're the Cain and Younger Cain of British Rock.
ОтветитьPlease Noel do a reunion with Liam 2023
ОтветитьPeggy is adorable 🥰
ОтветитьOasis, this is how it goes when u really much believe in rock n roll future, love liam and noel 🌟 their passion to rock n roll is beautiful
ОтветитьWhat a great time to be alive.
ОтветитьThanks for the upload. This was a great way to spend the arvo
