Project T: Everything We Know so far About Riot's MMO FPS

Just an honest opinion though, League of Legends is still holding out pretty good & the Valorant community is somewhat still stable for now, some of Riot's games were quite good too like Song of Nunu.
I guess if Riot is able to pull this new MMOFPS then Destiny 2 might have a real competitor this time.
I'm just hoping that the Final Shape changes everything for the better.

Make it MnK only, with some solid aim tracking and movement and you have yourself a lifetime fan and player

This was discovered eight-nine months ago, and Destiny creators themselves were flown to Riot Games at the time, probably to test this.

If a destiny killer doesnt have:
Raids
Classes
Subclasses
Pvp,pve,pvpve
Dungeons
Stories
Class specific exotics
Many seasonal activities and random shit to do
It will never kill destiny
You cant call a shooter looter a destiny killer if it doesn't copy what destiny does right and learn from what it did wrong

I think Helldivers 2 is going to cut into Destinys numbers in 2 weeks.

I been playing Destiny since a teenager. Im old now and picked up LoL. Before all that I'ma FGC player and played SF and MvC all my life. Im super excited for Project T and Project L. Destiny players need to realize that its only Destiny players calling things "destiny killer"

Try Warframe, the movement is better and there is more to do.

You can’t compete with Destiny because Destiny created something new. And all new genre and ambitious project. No other game has done what Bungie has done with Destiny

I mean, i know its THIRD PERSON, but the game (pve) destiny 2 players want is warframe, its even COMPLETELY (with trading) free to play, with every warframe having a completely unique gameplay identity, whether that being a fairy, a furry, kirby, a dj, a priest, or a space ninja, there is a pvp… but we don’t talk about. You can even at some point pilot a ship and go into ship fights, you even have customisable areas, clan places.

I personally think gunfire games can do it Remnant 2 is amazing it just needs more content and cross platform

it being set in the valorant universe could make sense, agent 8 has been completely skipped and missing this whole time. i'm not sure if there is any real lore implications on there being a missing agent at this point, but it would make a lot of sense if the agent is missing because they're in another game, as in, agent 8 would be like the player guardian in destiny.

I think people often forget about the Division which recently announced that the Division 3 will be in the works. Not an FPS but still the only franchise that gives Destiny a run for its money when it comes to similar concepts in my opinion...except pvp The Division pvp sucks in comparison.

At least Destiny's only launches when the game is played and closes afterward, I can grudgingly accept that, but less so nowadays when it has proven that it does absolutely nothing to hackers. But one that launches the moment your PC starts booting into Windows and runs all the time no matter what? Nope.

On a different note, another company that I can think of that would have the resources to make a first person MMO that could possibly be on the same level as destiny.... epic games..... and considering they just announced they are straight up killing rock band after weekly updates for years just to make it a mode inside fortnite they could literally just make the MMO a part of the fortnite download, thus taking the huge audience they already have and just giving them an entirely new game, it could actually be insane, as much as I dont like Fortnite BR it's actually mind boggling the things you can now do in creative ever since the 2.0 update...

Don't know how they'd make an exiting game with it being inside of the Valorant world, that game is limited to humans
We want to see aliens, or basically different species, and expansive lore, doubt Valorant's world can provide that

I know the term “Destiny killer” is such a meme but like for real. Riot is like masters of gameplay and their recent interest of expanding into different genres is terrifying. Cause it’s actually working. Valorant did really well. Their fighting game looks amazing. The mmo they’re working on we’ve heard little about but it sounds big especially with the lore of lol. There’s two devs that could make a Destiny competitor. And I think I it’s Respawn and Riot

I have a lot of faith in Riot to make a really good Destiny competitor, I just hope it's a new setting instead of the Valorant universe.

the fact destiny has clans but no clan halls is just lost potential, its too late to bring in things that SHOULD have been there from day one, just to keep the people that are left wanting new things that should be out after years and years of development

Every Destiny killer has been missing that interesting backstory, the lore, that Destiny has. Complain all you want about how Bungie feeds us the story, but the lore is what makes Destiny special.

Ima be honest, im spending my time in Pokemon until some new stuff for Destiny comes out. No game will kill Destiny at this point, and at the core, I'm happy about that, I like Destiny, and I really hope Final Shape brings the refresh that it needs.

I'm all on board with the Riot League MMORPG but I have serious doubts about the studio having the capacity to develop and then maintain two MMOs at the same time.

Sorry man, but you're following the wrong threads. Valorant is the live service shooter, the MMO stuff is unrelated.
