So basically Mojang semi-fixed an abused bug and that is bad for the people who use that bug.

The minecart stacking change is gonna be such a pain. That behavior was so clutch for forcing entity cramming

I think they're going in the right direction, but just made a ton of careless mistakes. I hope videos like this will help them realize what they've done and fix these issues, since they do seem very fixable!

This is a snapshot. Why make such a claim and assume this will happen if its still an unreleased version?

Gnemon works at Mojang since a few years, and he made the Carpet mod. Hopefully Mojang will put him on the Redstone Experiment.

Thanks for including the stacking minecart change! I have a build where I was using that mechanic as the main triggering mechanism.

I feel like it might be best to either break all qc or revert the updateing chnages. Either chnage it all so its in parity with bedrock or dont change it. But keep the locationality

I'ma say that the performance and the directional fixings are good, but some of the piston randomness, 0ticks, and that lever thing should all be back to before so thst our stuff doesn't break

I've been screaming to the wind about something for a long time, a few years in fact, a bigger overarching issue that isn't popular and many aren't talking about.... the issue is....Mojang will end up removing Java or making Java be much more like bedrock edition.

They need to make Bedrock redstone more like Java. Not the other way around like they have in the snapshot.

This is why as a Bedrock player I'm so happy we don't have to deal with quaziconnectivity. Yes I'm still jealous of how small your jeb doors and flying machines can be, but atleast Bedrock redstone makes more sense (atleast, when it's not up to randomness of which piston will go first)

Randomness is awful tbh, just make it directional instead so it's predictable, also the no update with redstone is disastrous.

the only problem that is not bad is the one when you can make the redstone forget is powered you can do something for multiple levers or something

As a mostly bedrock player I have no negative opinions on this snapshot, other than three bugs it causes. QC is just a bug and I don't think you should rely on bugs. If I were in charge I would add some way to achieve the same practical effect but with features that actually make sense to regular players.

bro that redstone thing with which piston gets powered first will be usefull for zero tick redstoners but it will be bad if mojang adds randomness to the pistons

Cards on the table, Fixing a bug is not ruining redstone, and neither will improving minecarts, it's just gonna change the way things are made, this type of changes has been done since the beta we're not gonna die because of it.
