Flying The World's Biggest Turboprop - Antonov An-22

This is probably my aviation highlight of 2020. I love to cover all these amazing and unique planes and the people behind the operation. They made aviation special!

There was a few question why the bus don't drive to Leipzig. The bus is destined to Baku, Azerbaijan. The An-22 plane made a tech stop to refuel in Leipzig as Bremen has a short runway. After refuel, it continue to fly the bus to Baku.

Its just crazy how this world works. Just about everyone in every country do the same jobs to live the best life they can for themselves and families. Then governments have disputes and your country is at war with some other one. Governments hate not regular people that mind their business and try to live best life they can. Humans man, worse thing this planet ever had to deal with.

This is the most favorite plane of the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee of the USSR - Leonid Brezhnev! He used the AN-22 for his flights around the world.

It’s sad that an aircraft that prominent got destroyed in the war in Ukrain

Why is it necessary to transport that bus by plane for such a small distance in a country with one of the best motorway infrastructure? Couldn’t it been shipped much cheaper by truck?

These are amazing planes, their ability to he self sufficient allows them to service parts of the world most commercial cargo planes cannot, huge contribution to humanitarian aid especially in Africa

i wonder if this plane is still flying for Ukraine, even though they said it had 100 hours left to fly. i did see an An 22 was damaged by the russians in hostomel airport. It looked the same as this plane
