I have very weak ankles when I'm not regularly working out (used to do purebarre/barre3 type stuff), which affects my hip and knee placement when I'm walking. Been doing this video a few times a week in some grip socks or flat shoes and I'm already feeling a lot better about my ankle strength! Hoping to keep this up!

Great class. SO slow! No hiding! Kathryn, you look trim, slim, delicate, feminine, and strong. You look gorgeous. Your feet look great. Your ballet outfits are very, very beautiful. Everything is top notch.

You should write an autobiographical ballet. You could call it magnanimous,because your story and your triumphs over your lifes obstacles would make a beautiful dance story to tell.

Hi! Can anyone help me out? I just got my first pair of pointe shoes (blochs) but the shank is EXTREMELY hard. I’m not supposed to bend this specific shoes shank, but it’s not breaking in enough to give me a defined arch and it’s restricting me from getting over my box because of it. I’ll probably get a new shoe once those are dead, but for now how should I break them in??
