Types of Guitar Noobs

What kind of noob are you? I'm the one who thinks he's good.

Is it just me or does this happen to anyone else? a metronome puts me offbeat. I have a beat in mind but when that thing comes I forget abt the beat and try to play to the intervals of the metronome.

well been playing for almost 4 years and I am literally the one who think his sweep picking is good😂 but it's getting better though

I'm the novice that decides to learn Free Bird with only two months of playing experience

I was the one that started a hard song, got half way though it in a few days, takes a break, and then never plays the song again.

Last one is so me, my guitar teacher keeps complimenting me but im so convinced im horrible😅

I'm the noob that is bewildered by the scales , notes trying to remember everything trying to build dexterity in my fingers . So yeah , i'm a noob . But you know what ? who cares if i'm a noob , it's going to take time and practice and there is nothing wrong with that .

ive been playing for 3 months so im still a noob but im not any of thsese lol

I'm a noob, and I'm saving up to buy some pickups that are definitely not going to make me sound any better but I just have to have them for some reason

A friend of mine invited me over for a bit of a jam, and gave me an acoustic. Next time he dropped me home with an electric and and amp. I hope we start a band

The one who buys a guitar and then watches videos for a day or two every year or so. 8-)

I AM A NOOB AND IM LOST AND SCARED I learned one whole song in two days and that’s about it mind you this song is played on one string STILL PROUD but idk where else to go from here

I'm the one that never changes my strings (minus the bathroom part). I KNOW I'm not a guitarist though and make no claim too be, in 18 years I have learned like 5 chords and 1 riff lol. I also run on time about as often as British public transport which is why I would never put anyone through listening to it.

You know what i find so hilarious.....is he made this video by himself. while hes "talking" to himself its really just him alone in a room. and to me---is golden lol i just imagine him doing these and rewatching his takes and being like " yeah thats good" lol

the last one, i have leraned guitar by myself but every step forward i feel like i am not good enough xd even thugh whenever we jam i am the one playong guitar and i play pretty decent bu still i underestimate myself

Never change the strings one thankyou.... The guitars were expensive gotta get the most out of the strings that came with them 'Ow.'

I've always been the one who hates practicing, now I force myself to incorporate 3 types of learning: 1) Practicing what I already know, mainly scales, techniques and songs, 2) Learning new techniques, and 3) Learning new songs. By doing this, I don't get bored and I can keep playing until I get really tired so for like hours.

i hate practicing (because im dazed and confused (haha) and i dont know what should i do) also im the guy that knows the whole song but the solo but im working on it, currently learning highway to hell and back in black solos. gotta mention theyre one of the first songs i learned

I’m the one who is trying to learn on my own from books and YT videos and knows a few chords and is trying hard to learn how to smoothly transition between them but has no idea where to go or how to focus my practicing.

Im the one who can play smoke on the water (on the wrong string) so im basically a pro

I think im the one that didn't know i was good because thats what everyone kept saying. Or perhaps thats just the one that thinks their good but really isn't talking.

I am the one that hates metro. And the start of learning something new. I like to improvise and when i already know something i repeat that like 1000 times in the same day.
Truth being said, i already play guitar for about 15 years and i suck as much as the first day 😂😂😂

I don't think I am a noob anymore but I am still scared of metronomes. Oh yea I also never change strings till they break.

I was definitely the one who thinks he's good. A year in, and the only things i knew were intro riffs for some metal songs, MOP, Enter Sandman, Tornado of souls, cowboys from hell etc. I got humbled when someone who actually knew how to play asked me to play some solos. I told him I hadn't learned any yet, and then he asked me to play a full song :) Naturally, I played the intro riff of tornado of souls 9 times in a row and said it was a full song.
