Shift is a solid racquet even though I think Solinco Whiteout XTD for someone who likes big serves would be the way to go.
Re- Why most Players dont use Shift : Majority of players have NO IDEA about racquets let alone types of new frames sadly. Its a lack of education but their coaches have some of the time even LESS of an idea sadly. Its weird when you step back from tennis and look at other sports and see that there is way more 'equipment comprehension'.
In Karting every driver knows exactly what its about. In Running most runners can talk for hours about why they think one shoe brand or iteration is better or worse. In Weights-Sports again its similar. I find in tennis outside the so-called 'nerds' and enthusiasts, its very narrow minded and there is a lack of curiosity of things let alone how things function in a deeper sense..
The Shift is somewhat new but what you selected is technically the 2nd iteration of the Shift not the first. Most on Marketplace are selling the Shift Prototype with a few selling v1 and most players use Prototypes. The problem is partly that Wilson has made limited marketing on the Shifts. I am surprised Wilson has not even contacted you for a sponsorship deal(maybe they have or have not)
Re- Not many players using Blade v1 - Thats very odd for Jonas to say this.. Djokovic and Tsonga were using the K Blades and Serena Williams used the Prototype of K Blade in 2007.
Shift 300 and Shift Pro are 2 different racquets though. The 300 is unplayable as is but I think if weighted up it would be greatly improved.
