Good review mate,I'm edging towards the razr 50 ultra, liking the outer screen more than on the flip 6.

For me, there's a $450 difference between the regular and plus. I think I'm gonna get the regular razr.

Razr is very nice. Feature rich for a Flip. But to me the photos looked overly saturated and not natural. (An Old Samsung trick).

One thing not mentioned here is timely OS and security patch support.

don't know if to jump into flip phones boat or wait for pixel 9 pro....I like small factor phones but also look into photography...anyway I love what Motorola did with this Razr. As for the reviewer, Basil you are my tech benchmark. Congrats!

The only thing the Razr has over the flip 6 is the outter screen that makes a difference. Everything else just seems comparable, like you can’t go wrong with either phone.

so past that the thing that it really comes down to for me is the ecosystem. Being the titan that Samsung is, It’s just gonna work better with everything else that I already have.

Personally, I have a very extensive Samsung and Apple ecosystem since I use both phones currently the S24 ultra and 15 pro max. So the Razr isn't really a real contender until Samsung or Apple integrate the systems to play well with others.

I had to flip 4 and traded it in less than two weeks later because I couldn’t get over how bad the camera was. But now that the flip 6 is said to have a camera comparable to the regular 24 I think it may be my time to go back to the flip.

but again, honestly, it doesn’t seem like you can go wrong with either phone. In my opinion, they both are the best of the best when it comes to flip phones.

Samsung fans are jumping on the software update to protect the Flip 6 but who can use a phone for 7 years without buying a new one? The success of the Razr it is based on the price for both models the 50 and the 50 Ultra much cheaper than the Flip 6 and still enjoyable

nice review, are notifications when recieved waking up the 2024 razr plus outer screen from sleep mode visible to read? I lost that feature when I updated to A14 on my razr 2023 I can only read them now if recieved when unlocked

RAZR is so cool! Unfortunately, the Moto's software super is terrible...

Ordered the base razr for $500 for tmobile the cover screen is better than flip 6 and its not even the razr+

I never knew about that cutout compare to my 2023 razor plus. Great attention to details as other reviewer missed a few nit pickings.

I'll go with my perspective. Still choose the samsung. It's better than Motorola. Better camera on Z flip 6

I really like the look of the razr. But I can't quite get over the slow speed in which they send out updates. Samsung seems to be the king, besides Google, for keeping their phones up-to-date as frequently as possible. And for me security and knowing bugs are going to be fixed is the most important thing.

I have the Z Flip 5 and now I'm ready to buy the RAZR. Why? The cover display on the Flip is basically just a smartwatch. Working in IT requires us to use 2FA to authenticate platforms from time to time. This is impossible with the cover display as the Flip CANNOT interact with notifications. Motorola's approach is basically having an extension of your main display which is the whole point of getting a decent Flip phone.

Everything looks promising except the sluggish UI on cover screen 😢

I was confused but eventually went for Flip 6.
Just trust Samsung more and Moto is now a Chinese company.
And I have been using my note 10+ for 4.5 years..... Not sure if Moto would have this longetivity even with their slab phones, let alone flip ones.
IP 48 and one Ui + Sansung updates and overall being a better brand and the amazing trade in offer + 100 dollars discount voucher made it a simpler choice for me!

Its a great phone, nice outer screen, but when it comes to shooting 4k video using the camera, it lags and jerks. Videos are not as stable. Just for that, I will stick with Flip 6.

Had the Razr 40 and had to replace it twice. I'll never go back to Motorola Razr. I just pre-ordered the Flip 6.

I got my razr+ on pre order midnight blue 💙 I enjoy my 2023 razr+ its my daily the hinge wobble is a bit annoying so im hoping the new one is more sturdy
