Honestly imma put y’all on. I’m not a huge Destiny player but THE best way to get legendary shards.

First: Go to the Dreaming City

Second: Go to The Blind Well

Third: Complete it and get around 2-3 pieces of legendary gear and dismantle.

The best part about this is that u barely have to participate. U can go to the blind well, shoot some enemies, then wait outside for the other random people to complete the blind well for u. Then go back into the place and collect the chest. Depending on the tier of the Well u get more or less loot. But always do Tier 3. It can give u 4k Glimmer and 2-3 pieces of gear. I do this every once in a while so I can stay ready for Xur.

So basically, there isn't a good farm for cores. Every single video just expects you to have an abundance of another resource.

you can get golf balls from trials when it's out. you don't have to go flawless either just 7 wins then each game after has a chance to award ascendant shards

Only problem with reverting materials via blue armor is you run out of glimmer and Legendary shards fast 😢 which sucks bc I’m maxed on prisms and ascendants but not cores

If there's an easy legend lost sector killing all the champions will give a guaranteed enhancement prism at the end, they usually take around 5mins

Their are multiple ways to get legendary, just doing anything and getting engrams and opening them at the vendors.

I got a quick question, whenever I go to my collections and then go to transmat effects, it says no data discovered for the first to sixth seasons and that makes it so I can't buy any blue transmat effects. Is this a glitch?

I personally think that the best way to get legendary gear in d2 is by playing pvp. I literally had hundreds of engrams at my vendor.

I’m a solo player and don’t do any higher level activities and...

.....I HATE the tedious GONE FISHING activity, but if you can stomach it (I listen to an audiobook or podcast to help see me through) turning in the exotic fish has a high conversion rate for Ascendant Shards.

On my main character I ran out of armour to spend them on, so I’m padding out gear on the other 2 seldom used characters.

I still don't understand legendary shards, I'm only level 3 ;-;

Best farm for glimmer in my opinion is Heroic Public Events. Once you complete the action that turns the regular public event to heroic, you're getting ~15k glimmer each time.

For all the enhancement materials there is much easy farm method:
Step 1. Wait until the lost sector Aphelion's Rest is in the legendary rotation
Step 2. complete the lost sector as fast as you can and killing all the champions.
Every time you complete one you get around 1 prism and 2 cores, you can complete it in under 3 minutes (if you are a normal player).
Also you can farm for better stats in your exotics, and get a lot legendary shards.

Enhancement Cores drop from Legend and Master lost sectors, can solo & get an armor exotic too.

The best way to farm enhance cause is to do lost signal for exotic Gear you get to them every run some time 4

I suggest nightmare for glimmer on moon throw a glimmer booster mod and complete all rounds of nightmare easy 15 -16k (sometimes 20k)

for cores, prisms and shards i really do believe that a reverse exchange system should apply, like you can buy prisms in exchange for cores and shards for prisms nowadays right? so why not the other way around, maybe not a 1:1 ratio but assuming 1 prism is worth 10 cores and 1 shard is worth 10 prisms why not be able to exchange a prism for 6 or 7 cores and a shard for 6 or 7 prisms. I have all my characters capped with prisms and shards but im always out of cores because i dont have time to play every day or i dont want to play every day just to have a decent amount of the cheapest upgrade material in the game, if im doing the hardest activities like gms or master raid and farming the rarest materials i should be able to get the more common material even easier right? but no, rahool has (for some light forsaken reason) a DAILY CAP of cores that you can buy with legendary shards and you can only get up to 15 per day like this. Sure its incredibly easy and quick, but its also stupidly boring and tedious to do every. single. day. just to be able to upgrade weapons and armor. Enhancement cores should either drop from more sources, be guaranteed from any dismantled piece of legendary gear regardless of how upgraded it was when dismantled or simply be able to be adquired in exchange for rarer materials.

Fishing is a pretty good way to get ascendant shards, too. Exotic fish seem to be about 1/50 (in my experience) and 1/2 the time you get an ascendant shard when you hand them in

What about solo legend or master lost sectors? They can reward enhancement cores and/or prisms.

Heroic public events are the best glimmer farm. An event doesnt take longer than 5min and it gives 14k glimmer

I don’t think buying alloy from Rahool is a good idea, they are extremely overpriced & if your a newer player it’s a good way to run out of shards quick
