NA competitive is super bad I lay in EU i had 200 ping was able to get to Plat in two weeks or so, my main rank in EU is silver tbh I might move to NA just for their shity players in comp, but their pro scene is quite better.

ever heard of high ping advantage? I dont know how the servers are in NA (because maybe your servers are good enough and you never have high ping) but as a EU Player that has scrimmed (for fun) on NA servers i can tell you if high ping players play it smartly, a 100+ ping against 10-30 ping can be a huge advantage.
In a lot of situations is was literally impossible for the EU players to hold against a NA player or even have a chance when they swing. What are they supposed to do? Have a 100ms reaction time?

I am not saying that EU won this, maybe the NA players werent even smart enough to profit from their high ping, all i am saying is that high ping can be an advantage too. :)

Personaly this is unfair for 3 reasons unfair rank gaps ping diff and light shield nerf, you should get only high dia low ascendant, all have heavy shields when they want it and the fact that I live in Uk and get around 60ping and when I visited my friend who lives na west coast who is diamond I top fragged in a ranked game I played and when he came over to my house where I am gold he was in bottom 50percent of the lobby for all games while I was top dragging on his servers in multiple games and in this game it was a 2v5 for eu and there is less of a gap on skill higher the rank but in the lower rank eu is a lot better

It depends on the angle and how you peek. High ping gives an advantage to the peeker. If you are waiting with high ping. He won’t appear on your screen for longer. And if you swing you won’t appear for a longer time. High ping favors the person pushing angles because of the latency. You just picked a clip where you got killed because you were jiggling and not swinging. If you swung wider you would’ve won the fight. Having more than 100 is a disadvantage but 50-90 is like perfect for the person peeking. Having a lower ping is more adaptable though.

I do have to agree with the light shields being fair. I think the immortals just weren’t as good because maybe na people are just better I could be wrong but from the video that’s what it seems like

Lite shields isn't even that big of a nerf especially considering the ranks. Literally flip the script, if NA had 3 immortals and server advantage, EU lads would be crying for a nerf to the NA team. The EU team clearly had an advantage from the very start. I personally would take being limited to lite shields, 3 immortals, and server advantage any day of the week against basically plats on high ping.

If possible could you get the same players in a lobby again but instead of EU servers they play on NA? That would be a bit more fair. And don't force lite shields on anyone, just let the game play out.

NA coping and still saying they are better over a custom game even though we have already seen in tournaments what happens when a decent EU team is actually in the tournament 💀
