Hub Motor isn't as bad as you are claiming. TVS iQube which is selling for 1.25L (Onroad) has Hub motor, and almost all E-scooters have hub motors.

Please avoid buying Ola bike 👎as I had very bad experience dealing with Ola Company, Customer Service and Delivery. Customer Service was not transparent and telling lies which looks been forced by the company. I booked on Dec,6,2022 until now no delivery. I have paid full money. When you book they always give early delivery dates but they don’t keep their commitment. Ola company looks like having lot of issues right from production to delivery.
