I find the difference between the extreme pathological love Germany had for its culture, and the extreme pathological hatred the West has for its culture, fascinating. Perhaps there is a connection there?

Such a shame that Germany tries to erase this not too distant history. Good or bad, it's history and buildings, artefacts and everything else should be preserved

How is someone panting over Nazi symbols sad & why would you wanna restore ANY of that shit? Also, whomever that chick with you is shouldn't be there. She's too immature for a setting that serious. She's in the background laughing, playing around & making stupid verbal sound effects.

Wouldn't you like to own the land above? Would you restore the building OR make something out of it? There is nothing wrong with making something for good out of something that brought death and destruction (i.e good Karma).

I’m always amazed at the quality of the German bunkers and gun emplacements. They definitely built stuff to last.

Did you see the colour of the gunpowder cartage and the last part of the round? Think of the same colour in the pipes in the sealing! Maybe those tubes there are for safe transport of gunpowder or not!! 🚫⛔

I am so jealous. Have always enjoyed visiting coastal forts here in the U.S. and am constantly visiting the ones here where I live that are now part of the Washington State Parks. Always irritates me to see the damage people have done inside of them. Watching this video of you two going inside of a German coastal artillery site that hasn't been vandalized and with so much of the equipment intact. I swear I was drooling.

When we read about this time in the history books, it seemed very distant and from another world. Watching your video makes it seem eerily real and recent. I hope the world learns the important lessons that history teaches us. Excellent video! Cheers from New England! Keep up the good work and let us never forget. Subscribed!

I don’t know if any film exist that would show each step of the operation of the gun from the time the munitions arrives to the time it is fired. A lot of thought went into the operation of these guns and the safety for them. Am sure they took precautions to prevent the whole bunker being destroyed if one round accidentally went off.

ventilate or use high filter mask, I know personally a guy who got very sick ( almost died and had to use blood ventilation). He got molds inside the lungs and Hanta for a 30 minutes visit.
