The difference between cops and gangsters is that society can function without gangsters. Without cops there are no schools, no hospitals, no manufacturing, no shops, no maintenance of public infrastructure. There are plenty of countries with no functioning police force but no-one wants to live there. What incentive is there to work for an honest living when a gang can just show up take your stuff?

It's ironic that I have come across this analogy of "cops and crooks".
I have been to court on several occasions and I have learned that the police will ALWAYS lie.
The public defender will definitely lie. The prosecutor will most likely lie, trying to trip you ( the defendant up). The judge understands all of this and allowed it...
Only YOU, (the defendant) can not tell a lie in the court room because you swore on the Bible.
The others may have sworn on the Bible in the same way, but the judge, who is trained to spot a liar, only reacts to YOUR reaction from their lies... NEVER reacting to their lies directly, other than to watch your reaction.
I find validity in being an honest crook over ANYTHING to do with a crooked lying system that would support all the lies to persue...."justice" 🤨
