The Modern FNAF Timeline

I had a “huh” moment. When John is talking about remnant in the book, it doesn’t say “Afton is looking for remnant” but “THE Aftons” plural…

I really enjoy your lore videos and i think you do an excellent job with them! While I haven't read the Ultimate Lore guide myself, it seems odd they would phrase it "The Aftons seem to believe that Remnant is the key to power" instead of just saying William. It kinda feels like more than one Afton would be hunting for Remnant the way it's written.

Honestly all the meta lore added, with games being developed inside the game about events by game developers in game... It is the worst part of modern FNAF lore and makes things lame and needlessy confusing.

I feel like a sentient computer virus is becoming more and more possible with the way AI is going and that scares me.

But in this case it's also a ghost.

My theory for who could have left the circuit boards to be scanned into Help Wanted is that it's Elizabeth (or a bot of her, something like that).

The only reason I can think of is that Afton created a way for her to continue on, similar to how Charlie did as the Puppet. That would also show more dualities between William and Henry.

Also, this is quite a stretch, but "DLZ" (the AR game's in universe shipping company) could stand for "Dead Liz".

What led me down the rabbit hole to this:
Someone that's part of DLZ but also has ties to the Fazbear team behind Help Wanted must know that William's consciousness is in the circuits. It can't be Mike, because he's against his father's agenda. It can't be Gregory because his soul in Golden Freddy would have moved on post-Pizzeria Simulator. The only other Afton would be Elizabeth, in Circus Baby.

The bit about agony also specifies "Aftons" being obsessed with remmenant. So it's plural.

If it is Elizabeth, as a bot, it would also be able to explain how she and patient 46 (which is heavily implied to be a child) could coexist. It's possible that different aged Eliza-bots are working in tandem to bring their father back. And it could be a failsafe that William encoded/ created prior to Pizzeria Simulator.

Honestly, I think that everything after UCN should be soft canon to not make fans angry if steelwool suddenly makes a huge change to the earlier lore that fans don’t like.

⚠️Potential Theory⚠️ Okay, so I don’t know remember where I heard this, I think it was at Game Theory but they said that “Fnaf 2 Came after FNAF sister location” and they also said that Mangle was actually a withered version of Funtime Foxy. I can add on to that because in sister location when your in the room with the three blinking heads you know that when you click them they make noise. When you click one of them they make a radio like noise. What if the reason why mangle has a head on their tail was because that head was where it used to be??

Hard to say if it was intentional on the devs side, but either way, this is what makes the most sense. It’s comprehensive, it connects a lot of loose threads, and doesn’t contradict itself

so heres something i dont see many people talk about, steel wool had the PERFECT opertunity to go forward with there own story seperate from the predecesor games, cause from 1- UCN was all scott "an indie dev" doing, they litterally put in the fact that there were bad things mentioned about fazbear entertainment by an indie dev in the first few moments of FNAF:VR (the first game steel wool made) they could have gone fully in with vanny=bad guy and remove the baggage of fnaf1-UCN which confuses a lot of people

I love how it takes 20-30 people to make the storyline, all of the secrets, and the lore, but it takes thousands of people to figure it all out

I think that Charlie bot= Tape girl and yes it's been 40 years since FNAF 1 because Security Breach takes place in 2035, and FNAF 1 takes place in 1993. And now the DLC's biggest mystery of who that girl is I think is a prototype of Charlie bot before Henry threw them away in 1983 before Afton stole those bots and guarded them in a secret location of his basement which is Circus Baby's entertainment and rentals

When does the dlc come out

There is so much lore ever since the first game came out. Scott has done a amazing job at the secrets and charactors put in all of the games.

We just don’t have enough proof that micheal is Glamrock Freddy, like how did he posses it?

Idea: I’ve been thinking about the whole “game developer making stuff up” idea and it never sat right with me. It’s why dream theory is dumb. “Oh none of it is real lol” yeah shut up. I do think, however, that the game developer theory is still somewhat valid, but I think it could use a bit of tweaking. I think that the “in-universe” games are the ones that specifically seem to be clear riffs off of common game genres. For instance, the atari and 16 bit minigames that we see so much in the franchise. But I also would include pizzeria sim in the mix because it’s clearly a riff off of business simulator games, and makes sense. It could be a cover-up, saying that all of Afton’s crimes and his legacy have now ended and that fazbear entertainment is ready to move on, but the story still isn’t over. Just an idea.

Hey John! I was just looking through all the old security breach freddy and friends cartoons, and there were a few phrases like 'alphaz 6 groups' from the first episode. Any answers to these?
