Another terrific job and a must see for anyone moving to or vacationing in an area under threart of hurricanes. What makes this and related videos really stand out is how they convey the immensity of the impact with both the video itself and incredible in depth interview(s). Yes there is a lot of hurricane footage out there but this is really the most comprehensive and knowledgable. The last three words describe overall the work of this creator in general.

Chris, you are in my area. I have lived down here for several years. It is very unnerving to be sitting in the dark in the middle of the night because of the power going out listening to the wind howling outside. I lost a Lanai screen in Milton, no damage when Helene went west of me by 104 miles. Two years ago, hurricane Ian, I had a 65-foot pine tree fall onto my house putting 7 holes in my roof. The pine tree was not from my property. but under Florida law it was my responsibility. I had to wade into my subdivision four days after Ian. My new roof made it through Milton with no damage, some of my neighbors were not as lucky. I was blessed not to have more damage. I am burned out from this hurricane season. My subdivision did not power for 5 days.

I still don’t see how people are staying in Florida, between stronger storms, and even insurance companies pulling out of the entire state, it’s a literal sinking ship.
